A simple project
Installing this power steering pump on my boat was a perfect match and a very easy project, and I saved $1000

Part was a exact replacement. Be aware that you need to buy a pulley puller and a pulley pusher to complete the install. First time out it was great. Second time out it was getting noisy similar to the pump it replaced. Third time it caught on fire, lots of smoke, no it wasn't the belt. People at dock wanted to call fire department. I guess I'm buying another pump, just not this brand.

1998 sea ray with a Mercury 3.0 power steering pump
The media could not be loaded. This does fit a merc 3.0 but!!!!! It needs spacers and listen to this warning!!!! WATCH OUT FOR THE TEETH ON YOUR WRENCH IT WILL PUT A HOLE INSIDE THE PUMP HOUSING. Besides that it’s great it does need all the factory to work well but it sure does you just have to deal out the original hardeware. And be careful with using a pulley press it’s tricky but we ended up using a set screw type style of puller to grab the pulley sleeve and internally push the pump away since it was in my hands it’s pulling differently.

As good is not better than OEM
This HeuroFosh 3888323 power steering pump Compatible with Volvo Penta OMC Corbra 3.0 is a very solid and well built pump. There is always a concern when going aftermarket with Marine, especially with quality and fitment but with this brand I am well pleased. All of the bolt holes lined right up and I actually believe the casing is thicker and more robust that the old one that came off. Once installed it runs quite and smooth and works great. Went on a customers boat and they are also really happy with it. Recommend 100%

Hole after 2 months
Unit developed hole after 2 months or normal use. Will not hold fluid. Do not buy.
