I was looking for an ergonomic office chair and ordered the DA URBAN® Merlion High Back Mesh Chair. Received it in 2 days. Assembly: Took me about 25-30 mins to assemble by myself. Instructions were simple and well-defined. Tools were included in the box, so didn’t need anything extra. Comfort & Alignment: This is the main reason I bought it. I sit 9-10 hrs daily for work. Chair feels sturdy and well-built. High back gives good support. Base is stable. The mesh back is breathable and the adjustable lumbar support really helps with lower back alignment. Grey + white color combo looks premium and fits my home office setup. Condition & Customer Support: Chair came in good condition except for one armrest which had a minor issue. I contacted DA URBAN support and they replaced the armrest within 24 hrs. Aftersales support was quick and hassle-free. That’s a big plus. Overall: Using it for 2 weeks now. Very comfortable for long work hours. Good quality for the price with a 3-year warranty. Recommended if you need a comfortable ergonomic chair with good customer service in affordable price range.

Feels like any average chair although at the price point one would expect better quality materials used. The plastic is not smoothened at a lot of places. The mesh already has a small tear, the head rest is very uncomfortable, makes the neck very stiff since it its slightly ahead of the back rest (clearly not made for women who wear hair clips) The lumbar support is negligible and I am scared to fidget with a lot given the cheap plastic so would not recommend sitting without a back cushion which defeats the purpose of having a mesh.

I purchased the Da URBAN® Merlion Office Chair on January 16, 2026. It is a high-back mesh ergonomic office chair with adjustable armrests, adjustable lumbar support, tilt lock mechanism, and 3 years warranty. Overall, the chair was comfortable and good to use in the beginning. However, after around 3 months, it started making noise whenever I leaned or tilted back while sitting. After around 4 months, a few more issues came up: the right-side armrest height adjustment stopped working, a small stitched/stapled part of the headrest cushion opened, and the main plastic back body of the chair broke. I was honestly disappointed because the chair was only 4 months old, and multiple parts had already developed problems. But I contacted Da URBAN customer care by phone, and then they continued the support through WhatsApp. I would especially like to thank Anjali from the support team. She was very helpful, polite, and professional throughout the process. She raised my complaint, asked me to share video proof of the damaged parts, and helped arrange replacements. I received new replacement parts at zero cost: both armrests, a new headrest, the full back body set, and the main mechanism that was causing the noise. The replacements were delivered to my address, and I am very happy with the after-sales service provided by Da URBAN and especially by Anjali. One question I have for Da URBAN is: if the service and warranty support are this good, why not improve the product quality even more so customers do not face these issues within just 4 months? My suggestion is to focus more on the durability of the chair parts, especially the armrests, back body plastic, headrest stitching, and tilt mechanism. The after-sales service is excellent, but better product quality from the beginning would make the overall customer experience even better.
