Quality but ...
Bought as a direct replacement for the CPU fan of an old - 5 to 7 years - HP Compaq 8000 Elite ( small form factor desktop Mini-PC).Unfortunately although slightly quieter than the original fan I aborted the change. Reason being that with this fan in place I realised the noise I was hearing is actually more a consequence of the air flow required for a 65watt processor within the case. Simply put the air flow through the front grill and then the CPU heat exchanger was most of what I am hearing, the fans themselves produce little noise on idle. Which is a shame as I have a 17watts (Intel Cel-1037U) pico-PC that is completely silent and was hoping for the same - the old Intel Duo-Core E8500 is approximately 25% more powerful and as a casual desktop is very good even today). The Noctua Fan came with three cables (including a low noise 7volt adaptor) and rubber anti-vibration plugs plus screws, i.e. everything you ever likely to need. Clearly a quality product with a justified price tag, not sure however if such quality is actually ever needed nor the best spend on ultra cheap old PCs.I'll re-use the fan on something more appropriate - aux case fan the most liekly.

Best airflow for a 6cm silent fan
Bought this to replace a gelid silent 6 which had, ironically become noisy.Admittedly I've replaced a 10mm thick fan with a 25mm thick one (it's mounted externally on my server case, attached to a hole I cut just above the raid controller so size doesn't matter) but I couldn't feel the airflow of the old one when it was running full blast, this one pushes a significant volume of (very warm) air on low speed and is quieter than the gelid one was before it failed. The fact that it's noticably removing heat from the case tells me it was a worthwhile upgrade over the old fan.

Perfect replacement for my Apple Macintosh Classic II
When my Apple Macintosh Classic II arrived from eBay, the noise from the fan was very loud. It was not a supprise as it was over 30 years old, so this replacement fan was an identical size and very much quieter. The only modification I had to do was detach 2 of the 4 wires as this has a 4 pin connector. The original fan only had 2 pins, black (ground) and red(+12v). I joined up the black to black and the yellow to red and discarded the other 2 wires. Works perfectly and now lovely and quiet. Great product!

Great fan
I bought this to install on my hp sff pc. The stock fans worked well but they made a slight annoying noise. When replacing fans I’ve always used noctua. This model was the same excellent design, quiet and pushed the air out of the pc well. It was a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. All the screws or the rubbers for fitting the fan come with it and do do a few different connection extensions and splitters. I can now only hear the fan if I put my ear close to it and then the sound is very quiet. I will be carrying on buying this type of fan.

The Silent Spinner of Dreams
Right, so I bought this Noctua fan because the missus kept complaining that my old PC fan sounded like a small lawnmower revving in the corner of the living room. Apparently, it was drowning out her telly programs. 'Get a quieter one,' she says, 'or the fan's not the only thing that's getting replaced!'Enter the Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM. It’s marketed as a 'premium quiet fan,' and I thought, 'Well, it can't be any louder than her complaining!' And I'll tell you what – this thing is a revelation. It’s so quiet, I keep checking it’s actually spinning. Honestly, you could have it on during an ASMR video and still hear every whispered 'crinkle crinkle.'It’s a doddle to install, too. Even with my sausage fingers, I had it up and running in minutes. Comes with all the bits – screws, extensions, even little rubbery doodahs to stop vibration (though my PC now vibrates less than my phone).Performance? Top-notch. Keeps the PC cooler than a penguin in a fridge, and not a peep out of it. Looks? Well, let’s be honest, it’s brown and beige – not exactly winning any beauty contests. But then, I don’t buy a fan for its looks, do I? If I wanted style over substance, I’d be shopping for designer curtains, not computer parts. In conclusion, if you want a fan so quiet it makes your old one sound like a jet engine and keeps your PC running smoother than a freshly buttered crumpet, this is the one. Just don’t tell the missus how much it cost, or you’ll be hearing noise of a different kind!10/10 – would recommend, even if it’s beige.

Absolutely the best fans available!
I've waited to review this until I had used it for a while. I bought several in several sizes for several PCs, replacing system, CPU and PSU fans. The fans are *well* worth the money. I've used different brands of so-called quiet fans over the years and they are never as quiet as I want, and don't last all that long. These are still practically silent in all the PCs after nearly a year. The fitting kit, with rubber mounts and cables included, is excellent and highly flexible, making installation a breeze. Manufacturing quality is exemplary.I will never buy another brand of quiet fan now - only these!

Now really quiet fans in HP 8200 USDT
I bought HP 8200 USDT and despite my efforts 7 year-old machine was not as quite as I wanted. I decided to swap its fans and it is not the same machine any more. Noctua fans are really quiet, no vibrations too. Please note that If you want to change HP fans you will have to cut a little bit of Noctua's 4 pin male cable . Otherwise it just does not fit, 1 minute job with a sharp knife. Also the Noctua cable is at leat twice too long. HP 8200 and the whole USDT series is a small machine with no need for cables that long.5 stars, no doubt. Expensive fans but worth their price.
