Not great quality but not cheap junk either.
I received this kit the other day. My first impressions are this. I like the small compact kit and most the stuff was of decent quality.Nothing really stood out in the quality department beside the paracord bracelet. I really like it because the weave they used lays flatter than other bracelets like this. Also the clasp is a cool design that does offer some adjustment where as others I have had did not. I am sure it won’t fit everyone but it fits me great. I am 6’-1” medium build.The flint and steal worked great after the coating was scraped off.The knife was good and sharp and very light. The blade doesn’t lock in position.The tactical pin is pretty heavy duty. I will never use it as a pin or carry it everyday but I will put it in my car in cas if emergency water evacuation.The whistle is great. Everyone should have one when they enter the woods just incase. It is light and it is loud. It won’t get smashed when you sit on it either.The flashlight is pretty bright and it has an adjustable beam. That is completely nessecary in my opinion. To me the durability could be better but it is a cut above the dollar store crap everyone else has.The multitask plate is great. It is stainless steel and fairly thick. It won’t bend on you.The compass is probably the cheapest item in this kit. It arrived falling out of the housing. I like the option that is attached to a caribennier. It would be great to hook on your hacking bag. I will be fixing mine with a little jb weld.

Maybe a little to small for Men. Men would look at the size of case and quickly say better suited for women. good quality, make nice gifts for young men early 20's, or as graduation gift with vehicle to go away to college.
