I needed a test light for a project and this seemed like a decent option. The addition of the volt gauge is a nice touch as opposed to the old school single light. But otherwise, functions the same. Feels like decent quality, so hopefully it will last a few years at least.

This tester is intended to allow me to teach a family member a little bit about automobile electrical circuits. Being that this is such a simple device, I thought this was a good place to start.It does continuity and voltage-present tests just like your average light bulb tester. IBut, it has a built-in volt meter. Huh? Where were these things decades ago when having one would have GREATLY simplified my life? On top of that, instead of plug-and-play, it's probe-and-read.Zero learning curve!
