Good information and learned alot

I’ve read so much about it, I thought I’d read the book.

So worth it I have know ideas why in the world they would take these books out but this is the biggest Apocrypha I’ve seen.

Got it to read the book of Enoch it’s great.

This book should be withdrawn by the author until he can get up-to-speed on his subject matter. If you are okay with confusing, misleading, opinionated, maddening writing, by all means this is the book for you!This book contains NO translations of the books of the Apocrypha. Contained in this volume are lengthy descriptions of each book but then in instead of a translation the author gives us what is best described as "epitomizations" of each book. These are like the Reader's Digest versions. "In other words, what it says is..." etc.Then there is some really off-the-wall stuff, like a quote he contains from the Book of Enoch, it says, "Enoch words- 'In ancient times, there were those who lived wicked lives and gloried in deceit. They were warned that they would perish and not have a good life. Those who perverted the language of righteousness and broke the eternal laws were also warned that they would be deceived on earth. It was advised that the faithful should prepare their prayers for a shrine and set them as a testimony before the angels, in order to bring the guilt of the sinners before the Most High. In those days, the nations and families of nations would emerge, and the poor would be forced to abandon their children, resulting in their children's death. Sinners were warned that the sin was prepared for a day of unceasing bloodshed. Those who worshipped idols and unclean spirits were also warned that they would not receive support from them and would be consumed in their wickedness and terror.'"What is that? I am very familiar with the Book of Enoch and I am sure I do not know where anything similar to this is in Enoch's book!This appears to be a book of idle thoughts, like someone might give you sitting a coffee shop, not a source for real information.

I think these should be included in the regular Bible. Good reading material for anyone into the Bible and answers several questions.

Extremely engaging book. I really enjoyed it because it is well written and all the stories in it are among the best.I recommend the purchase because it is a super book.

I am yet to read it, but by a glance I think it has what I wanted to research.

So interesting, I highly recommend this book if you into studying the Dead Sea scrolls
