I am glad I got seeds, because it is winter here, and I can start them when ready. Apparently canna grown from seeds may not bloom in the first year. I am looking forward to the beautiful foliage though.

Not the plant pictured
I scarified these seeds and soaked them until there were little sprouts coming out of most of a lot of them. Then I planted them in starter trays, several of them came up and are doing good, (others molded or just didn't sprout) but they are not the cannas in the description. Actually, the first picture on this listing is straight off of the Burgess seed website. It was still an economical way to get many cannas for a very cheap price, but I wish the seller had been honest.

It takes at least three weeks to sprout. Waiting on the plant to grow.

Not pink
Of the 100 seeds I have a bout a dozen that have started to grow,from point of purchase. 1st one and only one so far to bud is not pink. Very disappointed. Images posted are 3 days apart and looks like flower is going to be yellow
