Works perfectly and looks the part!
This is an excellent metronome, as you'd expect from Wittner, with all the classic performance of a traditional timer. Plastic it may be but it is a quality product with an excellent appearance. If a real wood version is beyond your means, this is very much the equal. You'll be pushed to tell the difference without having it in your hands. The colour in the photograph is accurate. Don't miss the key, which is clipped to the bottom of the case.

Beautifully constructed and presented. If you want the authentic sound then you have to buy a Wittner

No winding mechanism
It worked for a bit but then it slowed down. I wound it up, but the feel of the winding mechanism was wrong so I popped the bottom of the unit off and there was no link between the winder and the mechanism inside. Not that surprised really as the whole thing was cheaply put together.I'd not buy it again.

Does the job well. Owned exact same model for many years and just needed to replace it as I probably over-wound the spring!I tried several Chinese models but had to send back two different models which had been wrongly assembled so went back to this more expensive model which works fine.

I wish I'd bought one of these years ago! Reading the notes is not even half the story...
