Cups appear to be powder coated but connectors are not. Paint on two connectors upon opening package are already coming off before use. Once outside they will lose paint looking awful. I think the connectors are aluminum so I might just strip them so the chain will be black and silver.

Assembly required, not difficult but if you bend the support clips too much, they will not hold the cup. Cheap paint job lasts as long as it takes to assemble. Purchased to extend an existing rain chain that was too short- doesn't match but will hopefully do the job. Seems expensive for what you get-

I just installed these, so I don't know how well they work in the rain yet. The baskets are a nice shape and seem like a good quality. However, the links that hold the baskets together have a poor paint job. The paint was flaking off straight out of the package. I'm not sure what material the links are. They don't seem like they are stainless steel. I'm hoping they are aluminum, or else they will be rusting due to the poor quality paint job on them.

The paint on it chips on the hangers very easily. When putting it together it’s pretty much impossible to install it without chipping every single one.

Purchased for our pergola as the constant rain drip is leaving heavy marks on the concrete. I bough the extension to creat two long chains. Working great. The little buckets have a nice detail.
