I'll start with the one criticism of all RSI and workplace related equipment: cost. It seems unavoidable, but having tried cheaper items the maxim "buy cheap, buy twice" is bang on the money.The footrest can be used in rocking mode or stable mode (flat side up or down, if that isn't obvious from photos!). The flat side has grooves in one direction to stop your feet slipping when rocking, the curved side has grooves in both directions so you end up with lots of little pyramid shapes for grip.I like the rocking mode when I've been sitting too long and want to wake my legs up, and I like the stable mode when my feet are tired (take off your shoes and you can massage your feet on the pyramid protrusions!).Pros:+ very solid structure, doesn't feel likely to break+ use in rocking mode to aid leg circulation+ use in stable mode for either (or both) of giving you a height boost and a foot massage+ rubber grips along the sides mean it won't slip on hard or carpeted floors+ no adjustments needed or wanted, you can just use it. Switch from person to person if wanted, without hassleCons:- not cheap, but if you need it then your boss should be paying!
