GildanAdult T-Shirt, Hammer Collection, 2-Pack, Style GH000

I bought these to wear at the gym doing heavy lifting, and they are perfect for that. Other than a pretty minor issue with their being a little longer than I'd prefer, the fit is excellent. For working out in particular, I prefer a shirt that fits tight enough to be a bit of a struggle to get in and out of so there's never any bunching up or blousing of fabric getting in my way (not to mention I have the body to carry off a skin tight shirt, which at 50 years old I don't mind flaunting a little). So I got these in small, and for me at 5'8", 165 pounds, relatively thick chest and arms v. narrow waist the fit's just as a like it. In addition to the fit, the extra thickness of these shirts is really nice. It helps reduce any chaffing in my shoulders/upper back from doing low bar squats, cushions the bar a little better on front squats, and I feel like they help me get a better grip and lower risk of slipping in my should blades when leg driving during bench press.So great fit, great functionality, look good, plus -- as is the norm with Gildan -- really nice price for such high quality. The Hammers are more expensive than standard Gildan T-shirts, but they're more than worth it for the extra thickness of the fabric.

I bought the X-large size hoping they would fit me because I have large traps, chest, and arms and sometimes XL is way to small in one of these areas. I am happy to report that these shirts not only fit excellent but leave just a bit of looseness for comfort. I love the extra thickness as well. These feel like quality shirts. I will be buying more of the "hammer" design!

IGNORE AMAZING SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS! Amazon insisted I get this in an XXL and I am swimming in this shirt. It's easily two sizes too big. Terrible recommendation. Quality of the shirt is great, I like the fabric, but I'll write a better review when I buy one that actually fits me. I wasn't ordering a shirt to wear while I wore football pads.

Good substantial fabric that cleans well. Loose fitting. Only one shade of blue.

We have bought many different styles of t-shirt for my husband - they all shrink. These hold their shape. Finally! True to size.

I love that these are not flimsy. They are nice and thick. I gained a lot of weight through the course of cancer treatment and being given high amounts of steroids. I am more comfortable in these t shirts because they are more forgiving and hide things better than a thinner fabric.

The shirts are good quality except for the way they are cut. I'm a porky guy, yet the shirts fit nicely over my ample gut. So why are they so tight around my skinny bird chest?
