It would work but not for long. Clip will fail and would prevent the lid from locking. After inspecting I think some of the combination of the below is what causes the failure.1) Design problem (Not optimal for the forces that the clip is under)2) Material (This may address a potential design issue). The clip has a couple micro holder to lock into the clip. They look very small to me to resist. This very much disappeared, vanished after being deformed by the stress of the forces3) Tooling. It also may be that the die they are using to mold this part is bad quality which will not produce the necessary "resolution" for the micro holders of the clip.Overall knowing about injection molding process this is a very poor quality product for what they are charging.

I like to have a mixed cocktail each evening with either cola or ginger ale. I use only 1/2 of the can so I needed something to keep the soda pop fizzing 24 hrs later. This is it! I saw in some reviews that people said it does not work. That is false. I suspect that they did not close the lid enough. It has to click twice before the seal is made. The product directions should state this, but they don't. The best test is to put the lid on, give the 1/2 empty can a little inward dent, pump it up and see the dent pop out. Cheers!!

I spent $24 on this product and ALL 3 of them leak soda/ pop out of them. I placed the items on the pop can, the cans leaned over and the soda/pop leaked out all in my $4,000 refrigerator. I purchased these items because your website said the caps would PREVENT LEAKING from occurring. Im very DISASTIFIED and they are NOT what the seller said they were. These covers do not do what the seller say that they do. I don't recommend no one to purchase this product.

These work. Not just work, but work incredibly well. I drink a lot of seltzer and am blown away that this thing can keep it fizzy for days (I think I went as long as 5 days once). Problem is they break. I'd say they last anywhere from 1-2 months. Shorter if you're not gentle with them. After going through my first few, I learned that not going crazy on pumping ALL the air out makes them last longer (stop when it starts to get harder to push). Inspite of that, I still buy them because they still end up saving me money. Would just save me a whole lot more if they didn't break so easily.

UPDATE: I purchased a pack of 2 and a week after the return period they go bad! Not getting the value any longer and it's hard to justify the price! I usually get about 3 months of use out of one but the past few have been failing about a month in! At this point, the initial review is good for the use of the product... not the reliability. Price increase isn't worth it! I could see a pack of 4 at this price but not just 2!UPDATE: Price changed to an unreasonable amount! I still use this because it works but the price is no longer a value!Works perfect to save the carbonation! Bought these to use for my Jack & Cokes and ensure I have a second and third drink with good carbonation. Works great. I just pump it with one finger until it won't pump anymore and put it back in the fridge!FYI... when you open it back up make sure you don't just push the lever to open... I find if you just pop it open and let all the pressure out at once, it will force the tab that's folded inside to close back over. I just press down hard on top of the pump and press the lever to slowly let hte pressure out... the carbonation is saved for my drink!!!This thing really keeps the pressure in better than any other I've tried... I bought one to try and bought two more a month later!

I recently purchased a package of Fizz-Keeper Beverage Can Pumps and after only three uses it broke.

Update: It broke, only after a couple uses. Also just never really sealed nicely.Only one!? For the price of this thing I thought I was getting 2-4. The picture shows two. I should have assumed it was only one. Just seems expensive for one.

ALL 3 OF THEM BROKE IN LESS THAN A MONTH !!!These WERE absolutely FANTASTIC ... UNTIL:The clip that holds them shut, before you pump pressure into the can, broke off on all three of them. And then; DISAPPOINTEDLY, IN THE GARBAGE THEY WENT (ONE BY ONE)!The clips should be on a simple metal spring hinge instead of a part of the plastic cap itself. The plastic is not made to bend many times (to open) and therefore breaks off after just a few uses.STAY AWAY, DON'T BUY UNTIL YOU SEE THAT THE COMPANY HAS UPGRADED THE CLIP WITH A METAL HINGE, WASTE OF MONEY, DOWN THE DRAIN!!!If a metal spring-hinge, on the clip that holds it closed, is added (which I'm sure would add very little to production costs) these things would last a very long time and be as amazing and useful as they look and are advertised. (I'd be willing to pay twice the price if that were so.)I drink at least three soft drinks a day and these helped me to save each one ... instead of having to finish the whole can all at once. They really kept them fresh as new for up to 2-3 days. (UNTIL THEY BROKE)I would love to buy a set to replace these; but I know they would also break just as fast.

Although the can topper is great i received only one can topper and not the 3 as advertised. Very disappointed as miss-described and very expensive for just the one. A real shame it is another misleading rip off company on amazon as the product is actually good.

as in a previous review, i also only recieved one instead of three making that one very expensive,you would think this rip off would have been addressed since the last review.

Good for a lid outside but not do what say fizzy you can up

Real disappointment when the description says 3 pcs and you only get one in the parcel.Contacted Amazon Customer Service and got full Refund. Thank you Customer Service.Have only had for one day. No problem putting it on, or snapping the lid and pumping. Pumped until stopped hearing hissing noise, did not count. If you read the reviews, too many pumps and it makes a loud band when you open it. I wonder if that isn't the gas from the beverage accumulating under the lid? Just tested and it wasn't any louder than when I pop the tab. 10 pumps. OK, after 1 week, my pop is till fizzy so that part works really well. Hope it doesn't break when I take this off, as indicated by so many people in the reviews.

Update 2: They are now all gone. All hand washed, all used lightly and they suddenly fell apart. Infuriating.Update: Very disappointed. Literally, ten days since I got them, used for a handful of times and one of them just fell apart. Like it literally wasn't even a sharp edge, it's like it cracked, but it's not sharp, like the plastic is bad and just went for no reason. I was opening the can, not even touching the ring and it just fell to pieces.Before this, I loved a previous Jokari product, but after this experience I would be very hesitant to buy from them again. Original review-----------------In, my opinion these aren't as good as the pump tops for bottles by Jokari, but still a marked improvement over leaving an open can in the fridge. A couple of things you should keep in mind if you buy these.- It is a pack of 3, not 1. Initially, I was sent 1, but there SHOULD be three in your pack. After re-ordering I received three as intended.- Do not pump more than five times. I know it's tempting, but you will regret it because there can be a little bit of a startling bang when opening these and the bang will be very loud and scary if you overpump.- Easiest way to remove them is to gently pull the 'ring' section open and lift up.- You have to press the clasp down quite hard to get it to 'click' in place, you can see that it's proper by lifting it slightly above eye level. If it's not tight enough the 'bubble' also won't feel pressurised as you pump it.I haven't had any problems with quality so far, but I'll keep you updated in the future, these are working well for me as of now!
