The idea is good the production standard is awful so after a few weeks it fails to lock and therefore will not seal. I recommend you do not buy this product. There are much better ones on the market also sold by Amazon. I have wasted my money, you will too.

I wanted a vacuum sealer primarily to start getting into Sous Vide rather than for food preservation.It takes a bit of practice to get everything lined up right to get a proper vacuum going but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward to use. Performance is good and you get a good seal once it's finished it's suction.Biggest concern is the price. You can get equally good vacuum sealers for less money that come with a roll holder and roll included. Not tried one so they may not be great but I feel like this might be a bit on the pricey side.

I've had one of these for years but it's not only very loud, I have to really press down hard before it will seal or vacuum so t is a bit of a pain to use.This is smaller and neater and is a lot quieter. Also not as much effort to lock it when the bags are in position. Basically you just press down on each side until it 'clicks' and then you are good to go.Comes with full instructions and 5 vacuum bags - frankly they could have included a few more as that isn't enough to get started imo, so if you are interested in purchasing this I'd advise having some bags in (or a roll) ready to really get going with it. It's very easy to use.

Very easy to use plug and go item. You get a few bags to start you off but these won’t last long after you discover vacuum sealing. I want everything on my fridge that is open now vacuum sealed. This item is quick, not too loud and would fit in a deep draw. You just line up the edge of the bag within the vacuum area and shut the lid tightly until both sides click and lock and off you go. It’s great watching all the air get sucked out of the bag.

£59 at time of reviewLove the vacuum sealer as it quit long than other vaccum sealer meaning you can use larger vacuum food bags for large meat or food. It’s quite light, I was expecting it to be a bit heavier, but I don’t think that’s an issue, it sucks and seals well so no complaints.You get 5 Vacuum bags, this doesnt come with any tube, pretty straightforward put the food on the bag and seal it does the job well.There’s instructions in a very clear manual, but it’s pretty simple to use, doesn’t take much explaining, and works really well. All in all another handy little gizmo to have in the kitchenHope my review was helpful

Great vacuum sealer machine for super price.Well made, works really good.Seals well in just a seconds.Good for food storage.Package also contains 5 bags to seal.Very pleased with it.And surely can recommne it to all.

I had a similar product to this years ago and ever since it conked out I've meant to replace it.I have really surprised myself how much I have used this one, this time around. It works well, though it wasnt as fast as Id expected, it still doesnt take very long to work at all. Equally it was louder than I expected from other reviews, but not deafening loud, volume is definitely no concern. I even managed to find some bags from my old machine and when I tested them they worked, so im guessing the bags are all much of a muchness are interchangeable.

The FoodSaver was purchased on Dec 12, 2023 as a gift. The recipient recently notified me that she is unable to use it because it has a European plug. The return window closed on Jan 31, 2024.

This is a great help in the kitchen to save food waste! I like the simplicity of operating the the device , it’s straight forward and easy to use!I give this a 5 star rating

I did not have a chance to use it, it was made in UK ( I did not see that) they have different outlets than the U.S. has. I sent it back.

Came with a European plug. I understand I could buy an adapter but why would this not be in the product description? Glad it was easy to return and get my money back.

Got its with a little damage on the outside otherwise it works it not too big very little and neat it’s a little slow but it gets the job done
