As an adult, I like this tea in the afternoon to help with the 2 pm slump. My 15 year old cross country runner (also in the gifted program) has switched to bright minute in the mornings instead of her lattes because it improves her focus plus gives her additional energy. In the afternoon the tea is great because it gives you endurance for exercise. Bright minute is the first tea I have found with dual purpose -focus for school and work then performance enhancement for the exercise routine. We also add boba balls to it on occasion for an afternoon treat after school. Our fave is bolle boba balls. This is truly a tea for the whole family.

This tea has a lovely flavor that is smooth and delicious! It has enough caffeine to give me energy and not the gitters! It also does not have a bitter aftertaste! Will order again!

I was very excited to try these teabags, but they are a bit too mild in guayusa flavor compared to my usual guayusa morning brews.These come in a nice well designed cannister with Ecuadorian visual imagery. I read the ingredients and saw that they contain 1.5 grams of guayusa leaves and guayusa extract. I've never seen guayusa extract added to a product. I suspect this is to enhance the caffeine content. Guayusa is a cousin of yerba mate and is found in South America, often harvested in Ecuador. I have a lot of appreciation for the history of this plant and the traditional use that is sometimes accompanied by the sharing of dreams.After a 5-10 minutes of steeping I consumed the tea. It was moderately strong and had the typical guayusa profile, robust full bodied flavor with minor astringency. I typically find guayusa very palatable and the brew produced by one of these tea bags is on the weak end for me.I could notice the effects come on as I gradually finished my cup. The clarity of mind and stimulation without nervous and jittery energy was present. Overall, it's stronger than some tea bags I've tried but not as strong as brewing your own with loose leaf. This is a good option for taking guayusa on the go.Overall: Nice caffeine content, but not enough actual guayusa. These contain just 1.5g of guayusa per teabag, whereas some other teabags contain 5g (which is a much more appropriate amount).

A natural product with positive health effects.

I have bad acid reflux when taking coffee, and wanted to look for a substitute because I really need that caffeine in me. When I stumbled upon this one, I was really excited to try it. I brewed it like a normal tea and waited about five minutes to take a sip and the flavor is amazing. It is really a great substitute for coffee and it also has low acidity, which is why I am choosing to substitute coffee for this. It tastes like a light black tea. They came with each individual bags and and it taste really fresh. It gave me the same boost that you get from coffee, but less intense!
