Glacéau Smartwater Still 12 x 600 ml

I first came across this 'smart' still water whilst waiting for my car service to complete. Up until then I had been an Evian addict, but it was a very hot day and this looked so appealing as droplets of condensation glistened on the neatly stacked bottles in a huge chiller cabinet. And...it was free! Inspired by the water cycle, we vapour distil our spring water and then add electrolytes to deliver a distinctive, clean, crisp taste. smart because it's designed that way.’ ooOoo Exactly as currently pictured in the stock images above, the dozen bottles come in 4 x 3 formation in a cellophane-type wrapped pack, safe in the bottom of the 'Amazon Pantry' carton, which saves me dragging them from a supermarket. The pack measures around 19 cm x 22 cm x 27 cm and is on the heavy side, so could, arguably, benefit from an inbuilt handle but the plastic wrap is strong enough to pick up by the partly open short sides, in my experience. Each transparent, bottle stands around 21 cm high on a base diameter of around 5.5 cm. The branding & general details are in cool shades of BLUE, with WHITE & a touch of GREEN, reminding that this is a PlantBottle®. The plastic-type top is embossed with ‘smartwater’ and is easy to undo & unscrew, revealing the c 2.5 cm width open top. At the end, it is harder to squash the bottle but, on the other hand, it is strong enough to stand up to the daily strain of a rucksack mesh side pocket going here, there & everywhere, which is more than can be said for some other brands I have had that have either split or leaked from the top. I bought Glacéau Smartwater Still (12 x 600 ml) for £3.99. It’s vapour-distilled spring water with added electrolytes, which gives it a fairly clean, crisp taste. It feels like normal bottled water but slightly smoother. It claims to hydrate better than regular water, though I can’t really tell a big difference. The pack is handy for stocking up at home. With Amazon Prime, delivery was free and returns are easy within 30 days if anything goes wrong. Overall, it’s fine, just a bit premium for water.

Good value for money. Purchased for elderly parents Great taste. Only issue was the delivery person requested me to help lift from the car to bring to doorstep. I don’t mind but for those who are fragile with limited mobility would not be able to. Maybe amazon should provide folding trolleys to support heavy load. Otherwise will buy again. Thanks.

It's mineral water. I gave it 5 stars because it was nicer than tap water. The 600ml bottles feel the same to carry but make a notable difference to the satisfaction. ( A bit like a reverse toblerone block size change.) We bought these as plastic bottles gain a bad taste after a week or so of re-using so it was nice to have a supply and on the deal they were cheaper than other brands in teh supermarket.

This is a very good product, though testing ph, electrolysis tests etc everything on the back of the bottle is correct, the taste of the water is sublime, Although, the added salts and minerals happen to be synthetic, as distilled water without any added elements is harmful to drink in long periods of time as it washes the body of its goodness, it is good in short periods. But not for every day use. With the added synthetic minerals it does help this issue. But hey, it's still synthetic.

Amazing

This is more than just water. I have used bottle water for years and years, but this has a slight different taste to it. It is more crisp and refreshing than other brands. I love also that this is in a 600ml bottle and not the regular 500ml bottle that you get, which makes it even cheaper per 100ml overall. This is one of those products that I will buy over and over because it is so handy. I always have a few bottles in the fridge, and one beside the bed. One thing I have to address is other reviewers saying that it does not come in the crate pictured... That is the packaging. It is a plastic wrap that covers all 12 bottles, and is not a plastic crate.

I never drank a lot of unflavoured water until I found this water. Its really good. I find it so refreshing and I find it really does quench my thirst. I'm a nurse and brought this water into work and have had it drank in no time where as i've brought other brands in and its taken me longer to drank it as it just doesn't taste as nice. I find this brand hard to find locally therefore buying it on pantry and even better as part of the 4 for free delivery scheme to be really handy! Also a good price as when finding it locally it costs £0.89pence a bottle. I truly recommend this water to the none water lovers that need a refreshing drink to quench there thirst
