This is the second BlueAir air purifier I've purchased, and I absolutely love them. I use this one in my living/dining room, and I have it normally set on auto. It is whisper quiet when the air is clean, and still fairly quiet on the next level, only getting loud but still not unbearable on the highest setting when it is cleaning the air. I have a small kitchen so anytime we cook anything the smell inevitably fills the dining and living room. This air purifier then immediately kicks into high gear and within an hour cleans the air. Very efficient in that regard. It also does an excellent job of reducing dust, as much less dust accumulates on my furniture now. While I can say for a fact if that will help with allergy relief since fortunately I don't suffer from it, I assume less dust helps. While the air purifier is very light weight, it still feels very durable. It also looks great anywhere in the room, seamlessly blending into surrounding furniture unlike other air purifiers, and isn't too big or too small so can really fit anywhere. I'll definitely be purchasing more purifiers from this company for other rooms.

I just received my BLUEAIR 411a Max today so all I can do is talk about the product's design. It's very nice, and it is quiet. My school has the original BLUEAIR filters in every classroom, but I've always used XiaoMi purifiers in my home and I have to say that those are also excellent. But Xiaomi filters are more expensive in the States so I went with BLUEAIR. As I said, it is stylish and quiet and based on research it is an effective cleaner. Some reviewers complained about the fabric prefilter being cheap- it looks and feels nice but I believe it will need to be washed gently and put back on carefully when the time comes. I have the newer version with the conical shape so I don't think it will tip over as easily as the previous cylindrical design. I don't consider it poorly designed or manufactured, it wasn't intended to be rough-housed and I think most people should be able to move it without damaging it. So if you've read those complaints about it falling over or being flimsy, I think you can safely ignore them unless you are the kind of person that breaks most anything in which case...

I use this air purifier in my bedroom. I live in the mountains of western NC and have no air conditioning, which is common up here. However pollen and leaf dust is an ongoing problem when leaving windows and doors open, it really creates a terrible allergy problem. I leave the unit running continuously on setting 1 and can barely hear it, incredibly quiet. Small, unobtrusive footprint sitting in the middle of the room. Also like carbon filter odor feature as my dogs sleep in the bedroom. Very well made.

I bought this for a small bedroom of a heavy smoker. While it removes the smoke from an empty room, it doesn't do much while someone is smoking in the room. It is very quiet and does do a better job than the previous air cleaner we had.

I use this in a small room with an open door, approx 5x5ft with 2 litterboxes. I use it to reduce odors and dust. Works well. I keep it on setting 1 & 2 only. This size is for a bigger room but since the door is open and the area can be stinky, I prefer this. On a low setting 1, it produces very little noise and works well to reduce odors. At settings 2, there is a very faint fan sound. Setting 3 has noticeable noise. There's a setting for sleep, letting it quiet down but but have not used I've had this running for several months with no issues. The light on top turns orange and red when time to change filters.

I live in an older building and have been concerned about the air quality for a while now. I used to own another hepa air purifier but remember how loud it was even on the lowest setting, so I decided to give this brand a try. I put it on night mode and can't hear anything. The only time I can hear it is if I put it on the max setting. My breathing has improved greatly, no more coughing at night and there is way less dust in my apartment. The air definitely smells better too. I am thinking about buying another one for my moms room as well. Would definitely recommend as it works great is quite and looks stylish too!

I love this purifier! It's larger than I thought it was going to be. I was thinking it was a tabletop size, but a bit bigger. It is super quiet. I have mine set for automatic, then test it to see how long it takes for it to kick in. The fabric cover is removable and washable. It's amazing how much dust it pulls from the air. I highly recommend it.

Most notable when we are cooking and the BlueAir kicks on to help clear the air of cooking smoke and smells. When left on Auto the fan is lower than fan speed 1 but always on. I think it is best used in this mode because when it senses air that needs to be filtered, the fan goes from less that speed 1 to above speed 3. You are keenly aware that it is filtering the air. Sleep mode is quiet and even speed 1 is not loud. Speed 2 and 3 are louder but you would expect that with the fan speed.

My husband really wanted this air purifier and I’m so glad we got it. Yes, it came with it’s own filter (plus we ordered extras to have on hand “just in case”). You can hear the fan on the 2nd and 3rd settings yet still quieter than our little blade fan. On level 1 it’s so quiet I had to check to see if it was on! Today due to local fires the smoke and air quality in our area was very bad, but when I walked into the house there was no trace of smoke smell even though the living room window was open. This filter does a great job

I bought it last year when the walls in my apartment building were painted with some stinky paint, and I started feeling nauseous and had a headache because of that toxic smell. This purifier helps to deal with such things and it does it quickly. It cleans up the air when I cook, it saves from the city smog and the consequences of forest fires. This one is not big, but it sucks the air in from all sides, so it's way more effective than rectangular filters, even if they cost more (I have something to compare it with). The filter is easy to clean, it's not noisy, and the light shows it's sensitivity as it reacts to the changes in the air very fast (if I use a hair spray, it goes red almost immediately, even if I'm 5 meters away from it).

Remueve el polvo y los malos olores pero esperaba mas. Refresca la habitacion, sin embargo yo buscaba algo que eliminara el polvo de por completo. Tambien creo que funcionaria mejor para habitaciones mas pequeñas. Aunque creo que para su precio esta bien su funcion.

Love the automatic and night function. We use this in our bedroom and it is nice and quiet while providing clean air. I like the colour system where you can see the quality of air in the room. Also looks great and fits in nice with our decor. Highly recommend!
