Good company
I gave it 5 stars based on comparisons that I have seen from others videos. I have serious doubts that anyone can tell a difference on any engine performance parameter. As far as I know, Royal Purple is one of two manufactures of group 5 syn oil. It is my belief that they care about making quality products. It appears to me that they struck a balance in filter design between long life and efficiency. There is at least one other brand that is more efficient (filters smaller particles) but people are worried that it may restrict the flow rate. My belief is that RP is an overall good filter, and you can't go too far wrong. I have full faith and trust in them.

Outstanding Oil Filter
keeps the oil nice and clean, super long oil change interval and the walls of the filter are thick no chance of a blow out or road damage!

Bad Packaging
First time ordering a filter and will be my last. The box that came in the filter is badly damaged. I also notice rust building top of the oil filter as well. Not sure if that is normal. I am very disappointed with how royal purple was presented to me.

The best oil filter you can buy
I hate changing my oil, so I want to do it as least often as possible. With filtration up to 15k miles I just couldn't resist. Amazing stuff!
