I have purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my wife. They are wonderful book lights. The variable color temperatures have more utility than I had imagined. The red-ish color is ideal for being able to read easily in the dark without disturbing your partner. The bright white is excellent for detail when disturbing someone else is not an issue. I recently discovered a second use for the light which is equally valuable. Because of the shape and sturdiness of the clip, the light can be set on a desktop or work surface, and it becomes a superb work light. I often do work on small electronic parts, and I do crafting as well. The light provides excellent work light, and it can be easily positioned and repositioned as you work to give you light right where you need it. I will be recommending this to others who need small but powerful work lights. What a wonderful bonus!

Love this for reading in bed at night time! Just the right brightness and has three different lighting settings. Super easy to use and the battery lasts a long time!

This book light is the best one I've used. My last one died unfortunately, so I decided to try a different one this time around. I love all the light settings and the fact that it uses USB-C to charge, and it even comes with its own charging cable that actually has decent length. This thing gets BRIGHT so avoid pointing it at your face when you first switch it on. You need to tap the button to switch between light modes, but you have to hold the button down for it to dim/brighten which is a little annoying if you're trying not to wake your sleeping partner with a blinding light, but you get used to it quickly. It came fully charged out of the box so I didn't need to wait to try it. The neck is bendable and wrapped in a nice thick rubber material. The clip is sturdy and has padding on both sides, I've never had an issue with it falling/slipping off. It doesn't charge as fast as I expected, but it's useable while charging so that's not much of an inconvenience.

A really great light for reading and I would imagine countless other applications. The light is super bight in each of the three color modes, and the dimming feature is perfect for when others are around whom you don't want to bother. Battery life is great, style is sleek, and it does exactly as advertised. If I ~had~ to pick something to say is "negative" It would be that it is a little heavy I suppose. That said however, any weight issue can be negated by just clipping it closer inwards towards the spine of the book. Overall, this light was a great investment that I will be putting to great use.

The light was a bit bigger than I thought it would be. It is a bit bulky to clip to a smaller paperback book. It does sit nicely on a desk/table when reading. The light is nice and bright and the different colors of light are handy for different situations.

Super sturdy, has amazing brightness, I just wish it could be a little more dim modes. Battery life is great, I still haven’t had the need to charge the thing since it was fully charged from the box. Easy to use and great size for tossing in your purse.

This came basically fully charged. I really appreciate having multiple light settings. The orange one is easiest on my eyes. I like reading before bed and I hated having to get up and turn off the light, or at times be in bed and have to adjust the way I sit because of the light above me isn’t comfortably allowing me to read. This is practical , useful and I like how it bends so I can move it as I please.

My original goal was to purchase 15 clamp-on led lights for under 10 dollars each for use as music stand lights for our ukulele club. I purchased 5 different lites for testing. We may only use them 2 or 3 times a year, so an official $40.00 music stand light is out of the question. The below are all reading lamps, not music stand lamps. Gritin 9 led for $8.99 - 180 degree head (on sale) Glocusent Willow 10 led $8.99 - 180 degree head Briignite 14 led for $9.99 90 - degree head Gritin 16 led for 13.99 - 180 degree head One cheap-o from another on-line store, not worth mentioning * Unfortunately for my wallet, the Critin 16 turned out to be the best for our situation. For a music stand light in a dark room you need all of the light shooting straight down. Any light coming out the front or side that can be seen by the audience or other performers is very annoying. * The Gritin 9 and Willow both emit light from the front and sides. My thoughts of making a mask with gaff tape for either of these, times 15 lites, put them out of the running. * The Briignite 14 shoots straight down and is the easiest to adjust because it has 3 switches on the lamp head (on/off-color-intensity) but the gooseneck is long and we would have to have a loop in it. The supplied usb-a to micro usb charging cord is only 18 inches long. One single led charging indicator changes from red to green. However the Briignite 14 makes a great work light as the clamp also serves to sit on a flat surface and gives about 9 inches of clearance for your hands on tiny projects. It's a keeper, but just not for use with a music stand, but good as a work light. * The Gritin 16 comes with a 36 inch usb to usb-c reversible plug. The flexible shaft has a re-inforcing gusset at the clamp and at the light. The 7 inch flex tube is 3 times the thickness of all the other lights and appears that it will hold up better under constant bending. It perfectly illuminates a notebook binder with side by side 8 &1/2 x 11 pages. See the picture taken in total darkness. * The only negative of the Critin 16 is that there is only a single, multipurpose button on the lamp head to control on-off-color selection-brightness level (in steps 10% to 100%). It takes a while and many button presses to get to your perfect light level and I see the single button as the weak spot and probably the first thing to break.. There are 4 blue micro leds on the clamp which show the charging/discharging rate (see picture of fully charged battery). They are mostly hidden by the moveable portion of the clamp and are not an annoyance. I cannot address longevity, but almost every rechargeable led light has a few negative reviews stating the battery will not hold a charge after xxxx months. I will update this review with any problems we encounter. * The lamp head is in the picture, but since all of the light is downward, you can't see it which is perfect. The lamp head is about 2 inches above the notebook and about 4 inches forward from the stand. * The setting in the picture is max daylight which is the first push of the button. When you want to turn the lamp off from this position, you must press the button 3 SHORT presses which cycles thru BLUE light, ORANGE light, and then OFF. (A long press starts the process of stepping down the intensity down to 10% . If you keep holding the button down when it reaches 10%, it starts stepping back up to 100%. * If you have it set for a less than 100% intensity and turn it off, it remembers the intensity percentage when tuned back on. However, it always comes on as daylight no matter what the color selection was when you turned it off. So if you turned it off when it was set to orange 60%, one quick press will turn it on to daylight 60% , and 2 more quick presses will get you to orange 60% again. It takes a little time to learn the routine, but after about 3 uses it becomes second nature. * Also, there was a maximum of 5 lights per order per day, so it took 3 days to purchase all the lamps.

This is a really nice little lamp. I wish there was an easier way to adjust the brightness though, since you have to press the power button and long press it until you reach the desired brightness. The other point is the base is a bit too big, it would be nice if it was smaller, and lastly the hues are not great, the yellow one is VERY yellow, the white one is kind of green-ish, and the only usable one is the one in between. However, it's still a great lamp, quite powerful and versatile enough to clamp it in most places, and the light blue color is really cute. I use of course for reading but also for my kindle - I find it nicer than using the backlight, and also for crocheting, I clamp it on a shelf and it's bright enough that I can watch TV comfortably and still see what I crochet without annoying my partner by keeping bright lights on. It's also rechargeable via usb c and it's a real plus since the battery lasts quite long.

La luce ha una buona illuminazione sufficiente per la lettura di un libro, le tre modalità sono comode se si vuole scegliere un colore più chiaro o più soft. anche la possibilità di aumentare o diminuire l'intensità della luce è molto utile. L'indicazione sullo stato della batteria aiuta a capire quando si sta scaricando e comunque dura abbastanza. La ricarica tramite la porta USB-C molto comoda.

The clip is very strong which is a bonus it is not continuously slipping off. I love how the light provides three different settings with the yellow being my favourite for night time reading. The directional light is easily turned in every angle so and provides the light where its comfortable for each reader. This light provides a lot or little light, and can be used for several things other than reading and will make the list of "one of my favourite things"

Great product. Simple to use and being a rechargeable item makes it so much more appealing. The light options for colour are useful for nighttime use and have a wide range of brightness for any situation. The item itself it well constructed and I've used it travelling on multiple occasions - I would cram it into a bag then attach to a number of different surfaces and it still looks as good as new. Recommended.
