Fat Fabulous Ladies

So fun! Fun to have & fun as you create. I love all the accessories & detail. The only problem someone might have is that the book translation reads DC but you actually need to be doing single crochet. The htr was actually a hdc, etc. Otherwise I had no problem making the dame in the bikini. Can't wait to make one for each of my girlfriends.

Cute dolls, however, it is very hard to figure out some of their instructions for the back of the legs, at least it was for me. I have been crocheting since I was very young and could not figure out the back part of the legs but will have to improvise with what I know of crochet so I can complete one of these cute dolls.

I love this book. The instructions are very easy to read. My only disapointment/laughter inducing moment was when i made the doll using the exact instructions. The instructions are european, and im american. That was a funny blunder. But i thank you for the book. Its great.

This book is exactly as advertised. The pattern instructions are clear and have pictures for clarification if needed. These dolls are so much fun to make and have a variety of outfits and poses. My excitement over this book is thru the moon!

I love this book. I have no trouble translating to English. I am stuck on a row doing the easy chair and wish I could get help. Wish there was tutorials to help.

I laughed until I cried. The ladies in the Knitting Group laughed - even my children laughed What a fun book! For those ladies in the UK who might have problems finding suitable yarn for the hair, try any boucle yarn which works well as does a scrap of double-knitting mohair for a wilder more fluffy look! Ideal for us ladies with a more luxurious figure and a fine sense of humour! Well written patterns too - apart from an initial difficulty in sourcing the hair yarn, no problems with the book or patterns at all. Go forth and knit your own band of beauties, girls!

Had such fun making these ladies. Found the bent knees a bit of a challenge but once I worked it out they turned out ok. You do have to flip backwards and forwards in the book but it is very well illustrated and contains a number of different poses. I am fairly new to crochet and managed to complete 4 ladies with accessories. Hubby made the wooden bench. I can just imagine the 2 ladies on the bench having a good gossip😊

Love this book, very colourful with lots of pictures. Lost a star as I am unabl to find equivalent yarn in the UK no idea what ply and unable to work it out, but don't let this stop you from buying the book still lots of fun.

Not the clearest to understand, I do more blankets etc rather than ami but there's lots of fun designs in the book, would be great if they did a YouTube video to go with some of the more difficult parts, I've been crocheting over a couple of years now.

I am in the middle of one pattern and the instructions are clear, the content is well worth buying the book. Great illustrations and patterns
