Delightful! An almost seamless merging of the two shows in a story that neither would have had the budget to produce. Particularly liked the redheaded guest star (you know Who she is...) Very enjoyable book.

Well, only in the comics could such great TV characters meet. Having Batman and Robin team up with television’s “The Avengers” gives readers a fun story incorporating what makes each show fun. The only thing missing here is a glass of champagne after a job well done.One thing, though: while keeping the spirit of “Batman ‘66” alive, why not let Robin swing just a little bit? After all, he does have permission to address Mrs. Peel by her first name...

The art work is fantastic. I have the 1966 Batman show on DVD and The Avengers with Emma Peel. Brings back happy memories as a kid.

A Hard cover copy of the six part come series of the same name, which was blended together very well.

When I first saw these comics being produced, I honestly couldn't believe someone had such a taste for nostalgia. Glad I bought this one; I loved both the Avengers and the classic Batman. I'd have tweaked the storyline better, but that's me.

La idea es , cuando menos, llamativa : Reunir en un cómic (una serie limitada de seis números, en realidad, agrupados en un tomo, y en inglés, ya que es la edición original) a los protagonistas de dos mitos de la televisión de los 60, el "Batman" con Adam West / Burt Ward y "Los Vengadores" (no confundir con el supergrupo de Marvel), aventuras de dos agentes secretos, John Steed y Emma Peel, encarnados por Patrick Macnee y Diana Rigg. El objetivo es plasmar en un comic el "toque" característico de ambas series, y lo cierto es que el guionista Edington no lo hace del todo mal, recurriendo a villanos característicos de las dos (Catwoman, Lord Ffogg y Mr. Freeze por el lado batmanero y los temibles Cibernautas como aportación de Steed y Mrs. Peel) y a situaciones típicas de dichas series, como las trampas-cliffhanger que ponen en apuros a los héroes o el humor a veces un tanto absurdo en los diálogos. Desde el punto de vista del argumento, por tanto, sin ser una maravilla, el cómic resulta entretenido para el amante de tan míticas series (porque el que espere encontrar al Batman oscuro y sombrío de hoy día mejor que huya de este cómic). Pero el problema es el dibujo de Dow Smith, obligado a tratar de reproducir los rostros de los actores de las series (con mediano éxito) dentro de un trazo rígido, inexpresivo, sin la menor fluidez gráfica y narrativa, y para más colmo nefastamente coloreado, que malogra completamente el resultado final. Con otro dibujante más dotado, "Batman `66 meets Steed & Mrs. Peel" podría haber sido un simpático y divertido ejercicio de nostalgia "retro". Tal y como ha quedado, es un producto exclusivo para (grandes) fans de ambas series televisivas, más como curiosidad de coleccionista que otra cosa.

Love Batman and the Avengers so I waited for the Graphic Novel to come out and its cool, I read it in one sitting so if you love Batman and the Avengers then what is there not to like!!

Brilliant clash of comic book hero’s. A joy for any Avengers Fan.
