Effective skin abrasion repair
Quality product at a good price. Hard to find in pharmacies and grocery outlets. This apparently is a new version of an older product that was prescription only. It's useful for hand and skin abrasions and injuries, particularly during winter months. Useful for treating chapped skin, etc. Good stuff.

non irritating
I have been buying this product for a relative who has a large open wound. The hospital used this gel in the wound to help keep it soft but also to help lift dead tissue from the wound. It doesn't have the "burn" in it like other gels and with the Curity 12 ply gauze bandages, it creates a near perfect barrier and protectant. The gauze does not stick to the wound with this gel either. Really good product.

Used for an open wound on a surgical incision
I had a opening on a surgical incision, 3 weeks went by and it wasn’t healing. With just 2 days of using this product (twice a day) there is a HUGE improvement! I HIGHLY recommend this product- I spent so much time researching different creams/gel and methods on how to treat an open wound from a surgical incision.. & I wish I would of just bought this sooner!

This has worked like a great
This has worked like a great.I could not find it in our area. The only thing I could find were the two dressings in a box for $5.00.I purchased it here and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This is alot cheaper for sure. The wound is healing great!

Great healing aid for wound care.
A nurse recommended this for a nasty abrasion that I had experienced and it kept the wound moisturized well under the bandage. Best of all, it provided relief from the itchy feeling when it was healing properly. Good stuff!

Not really what it hints at. But it still served a purpose.
When it says you can leave it in place for upto 3 days, it implies that it will actually stay there for three days. It doesn't.I figured if you can leave it on for upto 3 days, then it probably "cures" into the "fixed" type of hydrogel. It doesn't.It stops being functional fairly quickly without consistent irrigation. Without that, it will absorb into the bandage (the instructions say to place a dressing over the gel) or it will simply dry out into a very thin film that offers no protection as it is very fragile. The one redeeming quality is that it is an excellent lubricant. But I found it to be no different than KY jelly or aloe. I just don't know if KY or aloe are ok to use on open wounds. If not, then I guess it serves that purpose as well.I had thought that it would "cure" into the "sheet" hydrogel. It doesn't. It remains a jelly form. And since it is still allows germs through, you need to add anti-biotic or antiseptic to it.
