The Zombie Tarot: An Oracle of the Undead with Deck and Instructions

I got this deck as I already have a few other Tarot decks and was drawn to the theme. The cards themselves are good quality and the images are clear (if a little graphic for some). The 1950's theme is accentuated by the sepia effect on the cards, giving the feel of something that's been long forgotten in a cupboard. As other reviews have stated, the box is made to resemble a box of bullets (on the lower half there are bullets printed on the outside) and the back pages of the guide book have 1950's style adverts on them. In keeping with the zombie theme, some of the traditional tarot symbols have been replaced with themed items e.g Wands are shown as bones in this deck and Pentacles are replaced with "hazards" (biohazard symbols). However this does not affect their meaning or interpretation in any way. In fact many of the images made me laugh! This deck can be used in the same way as any other tarot deck, bearing in mind your potential audience. While those experienced in these things will likely find this deck amusing and fun, those less knowledgeable and hence susceptible to the scaremongering around tarot cards may find the whole theme disturbing. While drawn in a cartoon style, many of the images are quite graphic, depicting dismembered human bodies and exposed innards.

She was born on Halloween and loves the Fifties so this was the perfect gift. Superb artwork and excellent packaging, which other deck publishers should take note of.

I cannot fault this quirky little deck. It's a full 78-card tarot with guidebook (which is written stylistically and is beautiful in its simplicity. The box is so sturdy I'm already reusing it as a storage container for other items having moved the deck to its permanent home in my tarot collection. The artwork on this deck and the energy I connected with has made me instantly find and order the other in the maker's series, the Housewives Tarot which I cannot wait to experience.

Opted to edge and ink up this deck.. it was screaming for it with its old days look. Great cards that get your head ticking and the guide book is a joy to read 😂👌🏻edged really well also I opted to blot it to the front to age it more and give it a more vintage feel. Though they looked great just as they were. Steal at the price and great for Halloween 🎃

These cards are a little delightful i love that someone created a deck that's different from the usual ones you can buy. Although I do feel that these are something i will use near Halloween time or if somebody wants a spooky reading but i feel for the rest of the time they are too gloomy for me so i probably won't use them as much. I bought them because I wanted to add something different to my Tarot & Oracle collection so went with something that isn't really me but more for if i have any guests round that fancy a reading and can choose any of my unique or randomly designed decks , these being one of them. I think the artwork is brilliant and some of them i can interpret quickly i do feel though that while there is the hazard part of the cards the rest sticking to the original being swords cups and wands is a let down i feel they could of been more creative with the whole of the deck .. hazards (pentacles, brains (cups), flesh (wands), rifle (swords) just an idea and would of been something more along the lines of my preference and i think then i would of liked them a lot more. But i don't regret buying them they are a joy to add to my collection. And would definitely recommend them to other buyers.

I very rarely review products I've bought on Amazon, but Zombie Tarot is well worth the effort. What a great set of tarot cards! I don't collect Tarot, I just bought these on a whim and was very pleased with the quality of the cards, box and booklet. The designs are fantastic. Funny, retro. It must have taken the procers ages to design. Brill!

Beautiful deck for a zombie/tarot lover like me, I've never been so excited about a tarot deck arriving in the post. I love the novelty factor but also the work that's gone into each image in the deck and of course each card has the same meanings as your normal Rider Waite deck. The little booklet that comes with these is so cool as it's been printed in a pre 50s era style and the container itself definitely makes this deck a collector's item. I literally found this after giggling to myself that if I searched for a zombie tarot deck there would be nothing available but here it is and it was defintely made for me 😂🙌

Är du inte nybörjare inom Tarot så är detta en riktigt kul kortlek! Väldigt unik på så vis att den blandar Zombies och 50-tals klassiker i ett Taro kortlek. Sett ett par udda kortlekar genom åren men denna är nog den mest udda! Passar inte alla i smaken men, jag gillar den! Relativt tjocka kort i lagom hård plast även. För det lilla priset är denna absolut värd!

Non mais sérieux, ce jeu est carrément génial ! 😁 Les cartes sont de bonne qualité… et drôles !! Elles sont super bien recherchées et collent parfaitement au thème zombie ainsi qu’au tarot (on arrive aisément à comprendre la signification de base avec les dessins, ce qui n’est pas le cas de tous les jeux de tarot qui parfois sont juste esthétiquement beaux). J’adore la boîte aussi, ce coffret est super sympa visuellement et les cartes tiennent parfaitement bien dedans. A la base je m’étais dit « allez, pourquoi pas… » mais au final je suis troooop contente d’avoir ce jeu ❤️ Et à un prix qui défie toute concurrence 😱 Avez-vous aimé mon commentaire et mes photos ? 🤗 (mais bien sûr que oui ! 😅)

These cards came 3 days early, which was a nice surprise, and they are absolutely perfect. I love them so much. The art is wonderful and the instruction book is cute, comical, and informative.
