I'm normally an 8-10 but as some reviewers said the tunic comes up small I bought a 12, thinking if it was too big I'd wear it as a nightie. Anyway the fit is good on me - just above knee length (I'm 5' 2"). I have no idea what the pieces of fabric are for which are hanging each side. They aren't an integral part of the tunic, they have been stitched on separately, on the inside. On the model they look bigger than mine are, which is about 6 inches long and an inch wide - they don't hang below the tunic but I shall cut them off as they don't do anything. A reviewer had mentioned about sewing on buttons on the sleeve - I wasn't expecting buttons, which is good because there aren't any and the sleeves don't need them.The material is incredibly thin but I'm pleased about that as I bought it for a trip to India and want something cool.The tunic came a week before they said so good for delivery.

Another great buy from the kurta collection. I bought this hoping I could wear it in UK as it doesn't have a traditional Indian kurta look. And I couldnt be more pleased with it. I loved the style and fit.I am a size 14-16 and the size 16 seemed more appropriate as from the chart. And I am happy to say that it turned out to be right. And though Amazon said it would take 3-6 weeks I received this in about 12 days. For the price,the fit, style, good quality stitching and the quick delivery this deserves 10 stars. Absolutely love it. I am defintely ordering more

I took the other reviewers' comments into account and ordered two sizes up to be sure - I'm glad I did. The fabric is lovely & soft; the upper part fits perfectly and looks very neat but the bottom part flares out a bit making look more like a dress. In a way that's great as it means it is not tight around the hips but I personally would prefer a straight style tunic.It just doesn't look right with jeans but if you can get away with wearing jeggings it would look fine. Although I am tallish the length is good but I plan to turn it up so it looks less dress- like if that makes sense!

This is so well made and the stitching is pretty much perfect. If you have a large bust, you should order a size up, I'm normally a UK 12 and I ordered a 14 which turned out to be perfect.Remember it is 'see through', so if you don't like that idea, you can wear a tight fitting vest underneath.

I didn't try this on, but it looked as though it would fit and seemed well made. However the description of "cotton blend" was misleading because the material is "see through". For a large lady this is not acceptable.

Good fit, I'm normally size 16 but chose size 20 which fits well. Comfy to wear with jeans or leggings. looks very stylish

It looks great, however I had to sew a couple of buttons on the sleeves as it was missing some final touches. Lots of people have commented how nice it looked.
