Love this headlamp. I have super sensitive skin, so tend to do yard work in the evening and use headlamps all the time. I've bought several different ones and none in this price range has performed better.Specifically, it's tops in brightness - the beam is a crisp bright light that can easily be cast broadly or focused into a tighter beam. The light itself is clear and crisp, without the bluish tinge from some others.Additionally, it holds up well, generally speaking. By that, I mean I use them A LOT. (Minimum 2-3 times a week for hours at a time; I have 2 that I alternate using while one is recharging).One downside is that the frame IS a bit on the fragile side - I've dropped mine from time to time and although the light itself still works beautifully, I've cracked part of the bracket that holds the head strap to the light. This will ultimately be the reason I will have to replace it - BUT this is in contrast to other similarly priced headlamps that didn't light as well to begin with and have simply stopped working in less than a year.The battery does take a few hours to fully recharge, and like all rechargeables, performance begins to diminish over time, but it's still better than any other I've purchased.Plus, you always have the option of buying a new replacement rechargable battery if you really wanted. The newest of my 2 headlamps is 10 months old and the other is well over a year, and I haven't had to yet.(Again, HEAVY use almost every day working outside in very humid/damp conditions in south Florida).I've given this as a gift and will do so again.Finally, I've received nothing from the vendor or anyone else for this review. I'm just a headlamp nerd and I know how much I appreciate reviews when making purchasing decisions.

I've found that I sort of collect headlamps as I like to try out new ones even though I have lots of them. I bought this headlamp for night time razor clam digging. I opted to go up in brightness to the level of a recently purchased headlamp, which has the adjustable center light, and two side lights that can be turned on as well. The three light style while technically brighter is too heavy and the side lights useless for clam digging. So, I bought this one in my search for the perfect clam digging headlamp. It's darn near perfect. It's bright enough, and being lighter is really a plus. The only thing I don't like is the zoom is push pull vs. Screw in and screw out. The screw type adjustable zoom is easier to adjust with one hand when clam digging.I did find that when I installed the battery and turned it on, it got stuck in SOS mode. I found that by removing the battery and waiting about 10 min and re-installing the battery cleared what ever wasn't working, and it's worked like a champ ever since.Overall, a very good head lamp. I'd recommend it.

I love the light, its bright and the battery does last around 4hrs on high. I have been using it on my hard hat for a little under a month and a half. Its hard to get the battery from its compartment. Its frustrating that he coil in the battery compartment has already come loose so i have to tinker with it to stay in place. The battery case lid hinge broke when I opened it to change the battery today. I do work in commercial construction and it is possible the wear and tear of job contributed to the hinge breaking. Overall I like the headlamp and will probably buy another one

I have purchased three of the Cosoos headlamps. I use one in my home and it is comfortable, bright, adjustable in lighting, and has good battery life. You can recharge the battery or use regular batteries depending on your needs. The other two headlamps are in our BOB which everyone needs to have just in case of a emergency. Cosoos has great customer service as I had a problem with a recharging cord. They sent me four cords within a couple of days.I highly recommend this product for runners, walking the dog at night, shoveling snow at night, or just crawling in dark places in your home. Both my husband and I feel very comfortable with the head adjustable band and having both hands free is a plus for general safety. Doesn't take much storage space, so that is a plus. The unit has a charging light so you know when it is fully charged. Rugged construction so I don't worry about breakage. Love the zoomable head lamp. All switches are easy to operate.

I love that this headlamp is super bright and the beam can be adjusted.The battery life is also awesome. I had the previous model of this and it required 2 of the 18650 batteries, which made the headlamp quite heavy. This newer model only requires one for a substantial reduction in weight.Like the previous model, it is made mainly of molded plastic. On the previous model, the plastic arm on one side just cracked, letting the light just swivel on its own and no real way to keep it in one position, which is why I had to buy a new one. I'm hoping this one is better.There are "elbows" on both sides of the battery compartment, which makes getting the battery seated correctly and then also getting it out a bit tricky.
