lovely soft and lightweight, non stretch, sgirt piled, cotton velvet / velveteen fabric. ideal for dressmaking and suitable for some soft furnishings (although it is not a heavy velvet). The fabric is 112 cms wide and weighs 240 grams per square metre. Ideal for making clothes. Classic Black colour, often used for photographic backdrops, as well as that LBD! This fabric is whashable at 30° (although it may run on the first few washes). It can also and can be ironed safely. So it is an every day velvet that you can count on.... Orders of more than one metre will be cut as one continuous piece.Samples available on request..

Good product
This is a very nice piece of velvet. I am using it for my glass cutting table to provide a nice soft base to place stained glass pieces for cutting. In addition it is great for showing broken small pieces and fragments of glass to be hoovered up after glass cutting activity. Recommended product.

Poor quality, very thin fabric and company doesn’t accept returns.
