I have the vax upright carpet cleaner and it is brilliant it not only cleans my carpets to brand new but also picks up more dirt than I could ever imagine after hoovering first! So I decided as we have just moved and whilst I love my upright it is a bit of a mission to clean and takes me a few hours so I would prefer to use this for a six monthly clean and to buy the spot wash for quicker damage or marks. I have only just purchased it and my carpets are brand new only just laid so won’t be using this for a while I hope, it was a case of rather have in my home and not need it than need it and not have it? I am really happy as I can see already how easy it is going to be to use and keep clean. As I am a big fan of vax carpet cleaner already I don’t envisage any problem. It is small enough to keep handy in the house too rather than the garage where I store my upright.
