I have to say I was very happy to see these ( the 18v and the 12v ) become available. Back when every manufacturer switched to slide batteries I had to give up my loved Makita tools as the batteries became obsolete. I was quite excited to be able to dig them out from the catacombs and be able to use them again. I will update after I have used them awhile to see how the run time is, the 18v is only a 2ah so won't be long , but as I recall the charge time wasn't all that long either.👍🏻
