Floris London Elite Eau de Toilette

Classy and traditional. Interesting brand too, and you can smell the history. Light but interesting, which lasts on clothes a bit longer than your skin. The traditional and slightly old fashioned nature might not be for everyone though, but you can smell the quality and history. Good for those who like the history around a fragrance and like collecting fragrances. I’d recommend Floris’ London Private Collection - their Honey Oud and leather Eau de Perfumes too (different and interesting). EDT Cefiro Is more of a crowd pleaser, another good one, and is more summery and likeable.

Quality scent probably more suited to the more mature gent. It’s not one of those “ in your face scents that seem all the rage these days “ Good lasting scent that smacks of sophistication .

Fresh clean scent with citrus notes of neroli and orange balanced with musk and vetiver. Long lasting for an eau de toilette this is classy, masculine and suitable for day and evening but definitely for a mature gent

Excellent scent for not a lot of money. Perhaps a little old school smell in a positive way. Wife likes it.

Wearing this cologne makes you feel like old money. It makes you feel sophisticated, elegant and timeless. It's not a scent for a Lynx wearing teenager. It has a softer floral notes than most eye-stinging colognes and unlike the strong modern colognes, it doesn't announce you from 10 feet away. It is subtle and yet has a lot of character. I like to go to difference fragrances depending on the occasion, and Floris 89 is the one I'd recommend when you want to make a statement instead a quick impression.

Having bought this product, I am not convinced it is of the usual Floris standard. Shortly before my purchase, I ordered testers from Floris, directly. The scent was superb, and the longevity of the product on the skin was impressive. The product I received from Amazon compares not at all on either count. (I might also mention that none of the packaging seems to display the royal crests as can be found on most floris products, or, indeed as in the images advertised on Amazon). This specific product is underwhelming, and disappointing.

The box is very poorly printed for what is a premium perfume brand. For instance, the box I received has a matt pale blue printed cardboard while the promo picture n Amazon seems to have a tiny square chiselled effect. Also, the two printed 'by appontment' Royal crests and accompanying text are completely blurred, with no detail visible except the broad shape in black. Is that even allowed? I'm sure there are strict style rules imposed on how royal crests/coats of arms are used on packaging... and the printing on THIS box is lousy. Floris seems to have VERY poor quality control and not care about its expensive brand reputation on the evidence in front of me. This, along with the fact that the scent doesn't last that long on me, does make me concerned that it is not a genuine product. I could be wrong - I hope I am as I do NOT want to have spent £40+ on a dud product - but something doesn't smell right (so to speak).

いつもは100mlを購入するのですが、今回は50mlを購入。若干コンパクトサイズのせいか100mlより使いやすいですね。

This was a blind buy, after reading some Ian Fleming James Bond novels where Floris is mentioned often I had to try some of James Bonds secret juice. What an excellent fragrance, very sophisticated and timeless. It is more of an older scent but I think it still works for a younger man as well. Thankful that this was on amazon as it makes purchasing very easy. The next time I am in London I will for sure make a stop at 89 Jermyn St. and pick up some other gifts for friends and family. Thank you for continuing to make this scent Floris!

Wundervoller, sehr vielfältiger und intensiver Duft, der lange hält - ein klares Statement für natürliche Duftöle, gegen die meist synthetischen. Die Kopfnote ist bereits leicht holzig, aber etwas orangig-bergamottig, schnell setzt sich die holzig, gewürzige, leicht kardamomig-muskattige Herznote durch, trotzdem noch frisch - sehr vielfältig und reich, ein im besten Sinne raffinierter Duft. Kaum ausgepackt, habe ich einen 'Probe-Sprüher' probiert - und ertappe mich dabei, daß ich die nächste Zeit regelmäßig an mir schnuppernd durch meine Wohnung laufe - wunderbar. :D Floris No.89 (benannt nach der Hausmummer des Stammhauses) verleiht dem Begriff "Edler Duft" einen neuen Inhalt. Definitiv mein neuer Lieblingsduft. Ach ja, one more thing: Solche natürlichen Duftöle haben eine gewisse Halbwertszeit (idR ca. 2 Jahre). Man/frau sollte sie nicht im warmen Badezimmer aufbewahren, sondern an einem kühlen und lichtgeschützten Ort - am besten im Original-Karton (der übrigens sehr schön und vorzeigbar ist). Ich schnuppere noch mal kurz an mir :D Gott, ist das ein edler Duft.... Hope this helps? :)
