Daughter used this for senior assassin's game for high school. Squirts far but playing this game in public is a no no, as gun looks so real.

Best of the electrics! I've tried a few of the cheapos, and so far this one is the best. My 3yr old nephews favorite.

Total dissapointment. Stopped working after only a handful of times being used. Battery corroded in both and they were never submerged under water.

Tough to rate. Does it work? Yes. Do kids love it, yes! On those two points alone, this is 5 stars.AS a parent will you love it? Probably not.Why? Well:First off you have to charge the battery fairly frequently. This will depend on your kiddo and how often they use this. However, you should have already known this is an eclectic gun so.. that's on you. However, the thing that is a pain is that the battery is behind a plastic latch that is screwed in using 2 screws. Having this be a pressure latched compartment would have been a huge plus!The battery compartment is sealed with a rubber gasket and where the wire comes into the compartment its sealed with some putty. The putty is applied haphazardly and this area does take on water. So far nothing has happened but every time I unscrew the battery cover there is always a bit of water in there.The sound the gun makes as it works is worrisome BUT to be fair I do not have anything concrete to show that this is bad. It's just a feeling I get. It feels like this is the part that may fail quickly. This is not considered in my rating,This is a light-to-medium toy. It runs out of water fast.The nozzle leaks. If you leave this gun on a table or on the floor (especially with the nozzle pointed down) expect to be cleaning up a puddle. I have two of these so this is not a defective gun.. it's just the way they are made.Lastly, the quality of the spray. It is sufficient to warm a kids heart! But does it shoot straight and uniform? No. It breaks up right away as it comes out of the nozzle and delivers a "spray" rather than a "stream". In some aspect this is a benefit since if this was a "Stream" you would have kids getting hurt if they got hit in the eyes. The "Spray" is a bit more gentle.Would I buy this again? Not sure. I am happy I have these two especially with smaller kids that cannot lift more or carry bigger guns. I do wish that they had more water like the old-school super soakers.

My son loved the power of this water gun! He had fun soaking his friends. Just remember not to submerge fully underwater. But it works great!!

It's rechargeable, but how? you must remove the battery and charge the battery directly! It took me 20 minutes to figure this out! and now I have a battery hanging from a wire, plugged into a wall outlet. Really!

Liked the distance it shoots.. love it
