Expandable Bamboo & Steel Trivet by Simply Bamboo

Mine arrived and I was taken back as to it's size and ease of use. Much larger than I though, even though I knew the size via it's description Exactly what I needed to protect my hot pots & pans put on top of my new quartz countertop. Roasted a turkey, slid these out to their widest and put the roasting pan on top of it. Worked like a charm. The Trivet is not only beautiful but fully functional. I'll use this on the dining room table when I transfer the holiday green bean casserole onto and not worry. Now I have enough pot holders instead of using them as hot pads!!!

I like that it expands, but I wish it would "lock" when fully expanded.

i like these alot; i bought two to use as dish drainers in the sink. they are high enough from the bottom of the sink to allow food from the plate to go down the drain. they also look nice in the sink. you just have to take them out about once a month and oil them so the wood stays nice and doesn't crack.

I am using it by setting my lap top on it and it is working great no more hot tables. Thank you
