HairZtar 30" Synthetic Fiber Mannequin Head (Long and Thick) Hairdresser Training Head Manikin Cosmetology Head PLATINUM BLONDE (ANITA+C))

I bought this mannequin head (the blonde one) to do braids, updos, hairstyles, ect for cosmetology (I'm a cosmetology student). It came with the mannequin head and the clamp (I adjusted the clamp to my dinning room chair and it works.. it's a little loose here and there but I'm not too upset by that since the mannequin head was cheap). The hair sheds a bit and if you leave a braid in too long (a few days) it'll frizz up a bit. I fixed the frizz by applying hair oil and using a flat irion at 250 F (I'd suggest you use the lowest temp on your implemtent and test it on the ends to see if the "hair" (plastic) melts). As a professional (20 years + in the industry), I can say that this mannequin fits its purpose. I've read a few reviews about not being able to curl those synthetic hair and decided to give it a try anyway. BUT here's the thing: it is a complete synthetic fiber and it does not work as what a natural hair would. In order to create a curl it is a bit more work than it is with natural hair. The fiber has to cool down completely in its new shape before letting it go. So, if you do not pin up your curl before cooling or hold it up, it will go back down to straight. As simple as that. Once adjusted to this difference all is good, the synthetic hair feels soft and smooth and it is rather easy to perform all sort of braids. Good job HairZtar!

*1st to start. Her face is not what comes as advertised. (Features+makeup) ***probably what upsets me the most****2nd if you run your fingers along the scalp you will feel little spikes the feel like plastic poking out. And you can visibly see when styling and braiding when you move throughout her hair.*3rd. Now this is sort of normal for all maniquens you have shedding from lose hair; druing the production procces of all and ANY maniquen heads you will ever purchase. (Not saying you wont ever have any shedding).But Ellen C+ deffinitly shedds alot if you brush out a intricate up-do.*4th. !!!Her hair already comes cut!!!the head is not a full entire length all the way around.Her hair comes in long layers, and tappers to a point.On the plus side the fact that the hair is synthetic makes the hair very silky...And the stand fits perfectly and is universal for my other maniquens. Its very sturdy and eazy to set up!

It is nice but the hair is not as long as the picture represents:(( it moves too much on the tilt, too loose, and does not sit straight up, as it is on a ball roll, and moves as you work on the hair:( wish it didn't move so easily ;( I am going to return it because I can not work with it because of the stand it comes with, what a disappointment, the head is actually nice, but is impossible to style because of the ball typye holder is too loose!

I ordered 2 of these from this company. One is as pictured and described, but not this blond one I got...this one is junk. When the hair is moved slightly, she looks bald. Also, under all of the hair on the entire head, it's picky, like stubble. Her left eye is also messed up and has a black smudge near it. I get it was under $20, but I expect to have enough hair on it, since that's the main feature and purpose! :(

Good for braiding and styling but can't heat style as it says, so if you're trying a curly updo this will not work. Doesn't hold any heat styling, only good for straight hair practice.

It's not bad, but not great.It may be the described length at the center tip but it has a curved taper I didn't expect or want.There are tons of crimps in the under hair not visible from the top but definitely felt when you brush it out. And her face is bloated and almsot a glowing orange color...she's ooogleh!It was purchased for a 9 year olds birthday and it was definitely a big hit among the birthday girl and all her guests.

The product was great. I practiced a lot of hairstyles, also used it for my Youtube channel. The only bad thing is that you cannot use hair tools on it. Such as curling iron, hair straightener, and etc. Lastly, the head wouldn't stay up, it kept falling down. For the price I recommend it only if you don't plan on using hair tools.
