Perfect so the wind doesn’t take the cover off my car. It’s coated with a plastic silicone of some sort and it doesn’t make scratches on my car.

fit my 2017 sportster 1200 custom with a small windshield perfectly, and cover is made of great material. I'm using it as a dust cover for storing my bike in a shed. I had a car cover made of the same material worked great in the rain & snow.

The media could not be loaded.  So as I was shopping I was sure I was going to end up purchasing something I didn't like. WRONG! So many reviews & even videos on the reviews show the covers not to be waterproof. THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF COVERS! Be sure to choose one that will meet your expectations & be willing to spend a little $$. Quality doesnt always come cheap. So with that being said, I chose the aluminum one or whatever it was. I dont believe it was the most expensive option there was. But I live at the boarder of Alabama & Florida so the southern heat/sun can really not only make your car hot, but it can also damage all sorts of things on it over time. My dash on my Lexus has pure melted & became sticky after 10 years of baking (before I got smart). So after Lexus replaced it I didn't want to deal with that again. But now my window seals are gooey & leave a nasty residue everytime you roll the window down when it's hot. Those things are not cheap to replace on all 4 doors! So I went with one to reflect the sun & let me say it was EXTREMELY EASY to put on & once I took a step back I was pretty blinded! Its BRIGHT!! I had to wait several days before it rained to check if it was waterproof before writing a review. But I had my car parked for 4 solid days in the sun with this cover & when I finally stepped in on day 5 I was SHOCKED at just how cool & comfortable it was inside. I dont have a way to see exactly how hit it was but I opened to door (which I love the zipper btw!) Took a seat inside to start the car (habit in the south) & I was sure it was only 70° inside the car! I seen the rain drops on roof so I knew it rained & decided to record it rippling off the cover. ITS WATERPROOF! Just make sure you get the one in my video. It was easy to remove. Oh & we did get some crazy strong wind from storm just 3 miles up the road but no rain lol. It never even budged in the wind. I did have the snaps hooked (which I didnt think I would do because I tend to be pretty lazy in this heat lol. But it was to easy to get to. It fit my car with no problem. It's very well made & comes with a bag (that I may never use. I simply rolled it up & threw in my trunk.) Hope this helps you make the best choice for what your looking for.
