Immunity Support; Mellow Flavor!
In the past, I’ve had a hard time with the taste of glycerin-based herbs. This extract/tincture is perfectly mellow and tastes great. If kids have a hard time with it, I’d just put it in a larger glass of liquid as it’s easy to mask with juice. The organic echinacea and goldenseal are great for immunity support when I am fighting illness or when people around me are ill. 4 stars instead of 5 as I’d like to know more about this brand and where they source the goldenseal, since it’s endangered in the wild and needs to be cultivated. Herb country of origin would be helpful too.

Great ingredients, but not the greatest taste
I noticed this was a glycerin tincture, so I was excited about the possibility to give it to my kids (since it’s sans alcohol, plus glycerin is sweet tasting). However, the herbal taste is still too strong for my children’s liking. As an herbalist, I do love the ingredients though - these are some of natures best immune fortifiers. My husband and I will continue to take this as needed!

Immune Support
Arrived in a brown board box. It's a little taller than the product, so there is some up/down movement during shipping. Otherwise the box is tight around the glass bottle. This is a great product to take when you are feeling sick .. I've taken this combo for years in capsules. So I'm looking forward to taking it in a liquid form.this has a squeaky label .. the kind that gives me goosebumps. UGH.tamper resistant band around the lid (dropper)Shake wellA dropper in morning and night in your water

Good thing to have on hand
Yesterday I felt a bit under the weather, and seemed to be getting a sore throat. Echinacea is one of my go-to herbs for anything viral. I had received this bottle of Echinacea/Goldenseal extract so it seemed a fine time to try it out. Per the instructions I shook the bottle. I put a small amount in my mouth to taste it. It’s not too bad. It tastes a little bitter and a little sweet . (No longer following directions) I put two good squirts of the extract in a glass of water. I sipped the water over the next few hours, holding each mouthful in my mouth before swallowing. After I finished that I did it again with another glass of water. And then another. Today I am feeling much better.Years ago I took echinacea in capsules and it never seemed to do anything for me so I stopped taking it. Then I read Stephen Buhner’s book, Herbal Antivirals : Natural Remedies for Emerging Viral Infections. I don’t recall his exact words , but what he said regarding echinacea was that it needed to be in contact with the mucous membrane in order to do any good. I started using liquid extracts and echinacea finally started working for me. So liquid extracts may be the best way to use echinacea .I have less experience with goldenseal but I know it is high in Berberine and is supposed to be strongly anti-viral .This supplement seems like an excellent addition to the medicine chest.

Organic Echinacea Supplement by HERBANA Doesn’t Taste Bad
Echinacea is well known for possibly helping to fight colds and flu symptoms. I personally have used Echinacea over the years for that reason. Most of my family take it for short periods of time when they’re feeling a cold coming. I too often ingest for a couple weeks or days and then stop. This particular product is a natural herbal extract with a high potency formula and high absorption. 100% natural, Non-GMO, Sugar Free, with no artificial coloring.I actually ran out and had the opportunity to try this brand of Echinacea extract so I seized the opportunity. I just add to water and for the most part it doesn’t taste bad but it tastes much better in juice. Now there’s no scientific evidence that supports it cures colds, etc, but for me personally it has improved my health while feeling flu like symptoms. Always consult with your physician to make sure there isn’t any conflict with medications being taken. I have ingested this product for a couple of days now and have experienced no side affects whatsoever.I started taking because of some congestion and slight fever. Today I feel much better than I did, for some reason every-time I have a doctors appointment I come back feeling worse than I did before my visit lol My doctor said it was fine to take with my current medication but no longer than needed.Made in the USA Product and good value in my opinion.5-Stars 🌟

A convenient way to improve immunity and upper respiratory health
I've used echinacea and goldenseal capsules for years, both to treat colds and sinus congestion and to enhance my immunity. I like having them available as a liquid extract that I can mix with juice. In the past, I've taken a capsule every four hours and will probably do the same with this extract if I feel sick.I tried a couple of drops on a spoon and the smell and taste is just as I expected, similar to how the plants themselves smell when you're working with them in the garden. It left a brief, pungent aftertaste that was not unpleasant. In juice, it blends right in.Note that goldenseal (and, to a lesser extent, echinacea) interact with some prescription drugs in a way that alters the drug's potency. Be sure to check for interactions with drugs you may be taking before using either of these herbs.
