Good buy for the price
Bought this for my quail chicks ideal for indoors, wouldn't hold a predator off or out tbh so wouldn't put them outside in any like this as roof is just a flimsy plastic fox would easily get in but for indoors or balcony it's brilliant especially if u need a temporary solution 😀

This product needs a couple of coats of rabbit-safe waterproofing paint.
Lovely looking hutch suitable for a dry housing within a large enclosure or for a free-roaming bunny. Not suitable at all for their housing without extra space (a lot of it). Not that robust or sturdy but then the price should reflect that. I painted the outside and inside with a rabbit-safe coating as I was not convinced it would be waterproof without that. To clean the inside of the hutch is a bit of a mini challenge as the centre support gets in the way and the left side (as one looks at the front) opening is quite small. Would be OK if the hutch were higher off the ground but that is not suitable for the rabbit. In use and still looks fine apart from where my rabbit has gnawed at the timbers!

Totally impractical roof for outside
I would have given this a 10 star rating as it’s a great size with quality wood and fittings . However the roof is simply corrugated plastic which if you lean on it goes in . Absolutely no good for outside . I wanted it for inside so not so much of a problem

Only suitable for indoor use!
You get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful when completed but can't be recommended for outside use without modifications. I had to reinforce the legs as they fell off and put a large piece of plyboard over the top as the plastic corrugated sheets weren't safe enough! It would have been better if the same sheets used for the floor were provided for the roof! I also wrapped tape around the feet and covered the whole thing with tarpaulin to make it properly weather proof. The 6ft hutch is basically two 3ft hutches joined together.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Delivery for this item was very quick, and much faster than was noted when I ordered.I bought this hutch to provide a lower, more cosy home base for my elderly lop’s enclosure. The hutch was exactly as pictured by the seller, and after reading other reviews, I checked it over but there were no screws or nails sticking out and the wood was all fine and in order. My rabbit’s indoors, so I knew this wouldn’t have to be weatherproofed on the outside, but I wanted a sealed and wipeable surface on the inside, especially where his litter box would be.I painted the inside of the hutch with a coat of wipeable bathroom paint to act as a base and barrier on the plywood. I then used peel & stick tiles to create a wipeable floor and half wall, and I also siliconed around the edges, just for extra peace of mind, just in case he had any accidents.I wouldn’t recommend this as the only enclosure for a rabbits or other animals- it’s too small, and definitely not for outside, as the plywood is a little thin. It’s perfect as an addition to an enclosure for a house rabbit. It does the job for me, it’s exactly what I was looking for!

Cheap but not cheerful
I don't know really what I was expecting for the price. Sometimes you buy cheap thinking you might be lucky and have got something for nothing - well, this time that didn't happen.I ordered this as a hedgehog winter hutch, for which only a small space is needed and sturdiness isn't an issue. Fortunately it is going under cover - this would not last any time at all outside, as other reviewers stated, as made with thin plywood and you can literally press the base and it bows up and down. I should think that the first sign of rain and this ply would have soaked up the rain and be bending in all directions. It is far too small as a caged space for a rabbit, and not even one guineapig, unless that guineapig is having access outside all day.Mine actually arrived damaged, but it was hard to know what was damaged and what was poor quality and shoddy assembly. The fact that its not packaged properly and just has a sheet of corrugated cardboard wrapped round it doesn't help transit damages. It has been assembled with long thin staples from a gun and on two of my panels the staples had already popped out and the panels were needing proper nailing back in. My front roof baton had been bent and was coming off. The interior divider had entirely broken off and was rattling inside the cage, it had broken the ply on the floor and door from falling off. Accidents happen, I know if things are poorly treated in transit, but this is more than likely in this case due to poor design, materials and workmanship. Also, and this is incredibly strange, the 4 legs (which I didn't want to use anyway) were attached to the divider section with two massive screws through the divider. No wonder it came off and why damage the divider and make large holes in it ?? The weight of them would have certainly helped in the divider coming away. Buyers beware -You have to be very careful to check the inside of the wire also, the wire is so flimy that the staples have sheared it and there are sharp metal points poking up here and there. Small animals could cut their faces or feet very easily !So, bearing in mind the above I contacted the seller. I had a very quick and helpful response, certainly the damaged areas were acknowledged quickly, apology was made and a decent partial refund made. This left me to keep the cage and make necessary repairs. I covered the interior base with plastic sheeting to stop the ply from soaking up urine and the cage antibac spray. I used wood nails to repair the panels, bent back the roof baton and nailed in place, dispensed with the divider as it couldn't be reattached easily and was an almost pointless thing anyway (it is a small rectangle of wood that doesn't even go floor to ceiling and is far too small as a divider), snipped off or bent back in the wire bits poking out on the door. I then generally made good areas where the staples were about to give with proper nailing. It is now fit for purpose for a small hedgehog hibernation box.If you are looking for a bargain for a rabbit or guineapig, this isn't it. Its cheap for sure, but will last a very short time I have no doubt.

Great wee hutch
Bring our rabbit inside every winter and needed somewhere for him to go, the fact you don't need to build it sold it for me, a bit overpriced and too small to keep a rabbit locked up, I left the doors opened and secured a gate around it. Fits nicely under the stairs for storage until next winter.
