This isn't too heavy a watch. It is a bit thick, but I like it. The strap isn't coming unbuckled and coming off by mistake. Looks enough like one of those soul-stealing smart watches to fool the less aware.What makes this watch for me is the absolutely intuitive and easy dual timers, both on a single screen. Each timer can be independently manipulated at the same time with a button dedicated to each timer. This has come in very handy in a number of situations, most often cooking at home, or timing other work-related tasks.I got mine from Nixon direct. These are currently $25 cheaper on the manufacturer website, and that is before discount code. It will come when promised from them, the delivery date won't change after you make the purchase, and with a legit tracking number, and Nixon won't ship you a used or returned watch.

I love Nixon watches. For me, the style outweighs the functionality. This is a cool watch that performs well. It has multi functions that I will not be using and the vast array of information on the screen makes it a bit difficult to read. I use these watches to make me look great, tell time and as a stopwatch. For this reason it's a five star watch.

I bought one of these watches; it is simple to use, but it fails on its fundamental task of keeping the time. More specifically, my watch falls behind by 4-5 seconds per week, which for a digital watch strikes me as a bit much. I am not sure that this precision qualifies as having "military use." I'd pass it as relatively crappy, and not really an alternative to the g-shocks (which seem to keep time better).

This watch has been fairing excellently on my day to day! It's faced quite a decent amount of abuse at work wear I'm repairing machinery and find myself tapping the watch on just about everything. The body of the watch scratches with moderate impacts, however, the face of the watch has held up excellently; which is what matters. One thing I noticed about the face is that it collects oil really easy. The band feels strong and the buckle is thick and rugged. I like how the band retainer has a notch that locks in with the other end preventing it from slipping out or getting caught with objects. This feature has been my absolute favorite and makes wearing a silicone band hassle free.Functionality is super straight forward, no crazy menus or bunch of buttons. Changing your alarms is a sinch, and its awesome to have the capacity to set up 3 separate alarms. The dual chronometer is much appreciated, all the more that it can be activated from the main time menu. The watch even came with the correct time already programmed. The backlight works excellently and illuminates the whole face evenly.Wearing this watch everyday has been very comfortable, and has a wide range of size, even for us skinny wrist folks. Knowing that I don't really have to worry about breaking my watch, that it's waterproof and tells me the time and date is is a great combination, not to mention stylish considering its rugged styling!Overall I am very content with this watch and can see it lasting quite a while. I look forward to see how it fairs on camping trips and swimming!
