Totally fragrance free and free of propylene glycol
I have contact allergies that prevent me from using many of the standard ingredients in soaps, shampoos, and body washes.Among the many things that I react to are fragrance or propylene glycol, which also seem to be the most common ingredients in these products. So I was thrilled to find a reasonably priced conditioner that is safe for me to use.I'll be honest, when I first started using this product, it didn't give my hair that same silky feeling as my old conditioner. But it also didn't make me break out or have itching fits, so I stuck with it. It feels like regular conditioner and it does work well in my hair. It doesn't give it the exact same softness as my old conditioner, but it does help keep my hair manageable. And it doesn't create a build up, which is definitely a plus.Unlike other "unscented" products, this is truly free of scent. There is no fragrance added to mask any chemical smells. Because it is odorless, it pretty much has no smell, though coming out of the bottle, it does smell a little like plastic.Of all the fragrance-free, propylene glycol free conditioners I've tried, this is the best one in terms of cost and quality for my hair.

Terrible formula change
I'd bought this product before and really liked it. However, I repurchased it and it's clear they changed the formula, it's much worse now. Before it had no scent, now it smells almost exactly like blue cheese. Before it was a creamy texture, now it's more watery and has little white beads in it that give it almost a sandy texture. My hair is also drier textured when I use it, compared to before.I have no idea how they put out this product thinking people would ever buy it again.

One container had the conditoner all over the container and in the plastic bag.
I ordered 4 plastic bottles of Magical Botanical Hair Conditioner. They all arrived boxed up and the individual bottles were in plastic bags in the boxes. However, one bottle had hair conditioner all over it and in the plastic bag. The top was on securely and I could see no leaks. I don't know if the conditioner had already been in the plastic bag or in transit the top of the bottle had opened, leaked, and then somehow it got closed. There was not a lot of conditioner in the bag. But, other than that all is ok I think. I have not used any of them yet.

It's good only when it's made properly!!
I haven't been able to find a return address for when it is NOT made correctly. I'm not pleased to be out the amount of the Conditioner plus the postage.

Happily Surprised!
This conditioner surprised me I must say... I usually use WEN but needed an oil free option due to a diet I'm on. I bought an organic conditioner from Whole Foods and wasn't fond of it. I decided to try this due to the reviews and I'm happy I did. I am not sure what ingredient in this formula is responsible for the softness of my hair but I'm surprised by how well my hair reacts... My hair is fine, highlighted and below my shoulders and the conditioner softens well and is not difficult to rinse. I do spend a minute longer on the rinse just because how soft it feels... like I need to keep rinsing. Overall, I will repurchase as needed but it won't replace WEN.

This Particular Bottle Was Different
I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for several months now. Although these products are not my first choice, I must use them due to my allergies. They do not irritate my sensitive skin, so they are a very suitable solution for that. However, with this particular order for the conditioner, the conditioner seemed watered down quite a bit. It was just slightly thicker than water, whereas before it was more like the consistency of hand lotion. I don't know if I just got a bad one or if the manufacturer has changed the formula. Anyway, even watered down, it detangled my hair. That's a good thing for sure.

Conditioner is okay, but bottle only half-full
I've tried the conditioner a couple of times, and I feel like it takes a lot of product in order to make my hair feel soft and not as frizzy. But considering this doesn't have many allergens and is good for people with sensitive skin, I think it's all right. However, when the conditioner came in the mail, more than half of it spilled. The cap seemed to be screwed on pretty well, so I have no idea why it spilled so much. So overall, not a great buy :(

A must-have for me
i hate regular conditioners -- HATE. The reason? I break out on my face and neck from regular conditioners and used to have to be extremely vigilant about not getting any on my skin. I'd rinse and rinse making sure not to let anything, not even the rinse water, touch my face. Talk about stressful showers!! Double that with now having well water (even though I have a shower filter) and STILL having flat, crunchy, weird-feeling hair due to hard water. Then I started searching for oil-free conditioner and found this! Please, please don't stop making this stuff. This conditioner along with Clean and Clear face wash for sensitive skin (as shampoo) and a weekly clarify with Ouidad clarifying shampoo, my hair is bouncy, shiny and soft again.Love this conditioner AND my showers are relaxing since I no longer worry about oils, fragrance and who knows what else, causing acne breakouts.
