Slider Clasps Are Not Very Sturdy
When I first opened this set of Slider Clasps I was really pleased with the different sizes that were included in this set. Yet as I opened the individual packages I realized they are a bit flimsy. It will take some finesse to get these to work and look decent. Some of the pieces had what looks like tarnish on the metal. I haven’t tried to clean that off yet so I’m not sure what it is. I did count how many Slider Clasps were in each size and consistently there are 20 of each. Some of the longer clasps were stuck together and I couldn’t slide them apart with just my hands. I didn’t want to bend them out of shape. There are some solid, sturdy Lobster Clasps included in this set. The sections of little chain that is included is a nice, delicate looking chain. Also included are a bunch of open jump rings that are too numerous to count. So I’m real torn about this set because I know it will be challenging working with the Slider Clasps yet the amount of useful pieces that come in this set is a real plus. When I put some necklaces together with these Slider Clasps, if it turns out that they work really well I will do an update to this review.

Good variety of bars
I'm new to jewelry making with seed beads, and I follow this crafter on social media who makes the cutest earrings and necklaces with them.I figured I would try a simple design with some thin elastic (0.8) for jewelry and attach the beads to it, and then the bar. The elastic is too stiff and doesn't allow the beads to drape nicely allowing them to swing. I'll look for a better elastic/thread.Please note, 6/0 beads will not fit in the bar, 11/0 or smaller are a good fit.Despite my mishap, the bars are strong and easy to work with. Having a pair of jewelry pliers is a must so you don't mark the metal as you close the end. The assortment of sizes is large giving you plenty of options for styling. Can't say if they will resist rusting/tarnishing as I just received them.Update. I made this bracelet with bead wire and added crimp beads to finish the ends before adding them into the tube. I will probably change the lobster clasp to a toggle as I couldn't open the clasp.
