Great motherboard for the price
Paired this motherboard with a 2200G, everything is working fine and I haven't had any issues. It's March 2018 and I did have to get an AMD boot kit to update the bios to work with the 2200G, but if you're ordering this later on then you'll probably have a compatible bios right out-of-the-box. would recommend for anybody on a budget

Great board but ethernet port died?
installing windows was a breeze and building the pc was easier than any I have ever done before. the computer did eventually fail to post and when it came out of its "coma" something was lost …….I actually wished I could have kept this board, but the ethernet vanished. As a result I had to return it for a different board. I tried every fix known to google to fix the ethernet myself but it was gone.a GREAT board if the ethernet had not died :(

Got this motherboard May 2019. Not even months afterwards, my pc wouldn’t start and had major problems. Assumed it was the CPU so bought and replaced the CPU and the same thing happened. Ridiculous that it stopped working after such a short amount of time for the price. Never buying MSI again.

Amazing budget MOBO
Pros-great selection of io-led backlight-vrms are decent-pricecons-somewhat tall for mini towers and leaves little room for gpu fans to breathe

Great for a budget build
It's a great board for a budget build. It's also easy to get set up. It recognized the CPU with no issue. Initially, it didn't want to recognize all 8GB of RAM, and would only boot with 4GB installed. After getting Linux set up, I shut it down, and re-installed the other 4GB module. It recognized it, and booted up. Nice board for home/office non-gaming PC.

Good board, not great for screw-on CPU fans.
This board worked with all my hardware out of the box, and is very sturdy. It can only control one case fan. My biggest issue: the backplate is not attached to the board except by the clips for a clip-on style CPU fan. This made installing my screw type fan extremely difficult, because I had to hold the backplate in place while attaching the fan.
