This is high quality seed that our local bird population (mourning doves, house finches, house & white throated sparrows, dark eyed juncos) are quite enthusiastic about. The seed appears quite fresh and is free of contaminants such as plant stems, bugs, dirt or ground up seeds. As I purchase this product regularly, I will advise of any change in product quality, but after several purchases of this seed over the past year, I highly recommend this product.

I have several feeders and have trouble keeping them full. All the birds love this feed. This has been a favorite food for the finches, sparrows and wrens.

If you're buying this, there a good chance you're growing gourmet mushrooms from liquid culture that need grain spawn. This millet is extremely clean and was extremely easy to prepare. Equal weight of seed and water in your mason jar, pressure cook for 2.5 hours at 15 psi, and you've got perfectly hydrated, clean and sterile grain for developing your mycelium.

That is what the birds would say if they could review this. My sister--in-law, who is something of a bird expert says this type of seed is garbage, but the birds beg to differ. They go through the stuff at lightning speed--and the squirrels gather around for what they spill.

I'm not sure yet why, but it got wet so will refill and try again!!!

This seed took awhile for the birds to eat it, as they favored other ones we also had out. Mostly the morning doves liked this

I feed a myriad of birds and have tried various brands of millet. Millet is preferred by sparrows and doves at my feeder. I note the quality of the grain and the cost per ounce. Great quality and value
