the technology isn't quite there yet.
I gave it a chance, I've been using it every day for weeks now.it just sucks, if you overfill it the whole match bursts into a huge flame,if you fill it up just right, it will work, however, the match soaks up a ton of fuel, and then still makes a giant ball of fire even if there is barely fuel in the reservoir.if I put the bareminimum amount of fuel the match becomes just a bit more consistent, but then you have to fill it with almost every use.and even then, even then,it never lights. it just makes blindingly bright sparks, like really bright sparks,I'm a welder and I'm saying the sparks are very bright lol, enough to damage you're eyes if you have light sensitivity.all in all, it sucks, it never lights when I want it to, I don't take it out on the go, tried lighting it in public and I looked crazy, lol,I'm getting one of those trench lighters instead, they seem more consistent,

Does make a flame when filled with fuel, but came apart almost instantly...
This product requires zippo (or other brand) fuel to create a flame. The "match" portion is soaked in the fuel while it's in the cannister, then when removed, the flint is struck, thus lighting the wick at the end of the match. However, the fuel dissolved the glue holding the match together, and it fell apart after only a handful of uses...I am going to find a solvent resistant epoxy to get it back together.

Doesn’t light well
Lights a couple times and then it’s a pain to light. Do not recommend. I was able to light it a total of 6 times in 2 weeks. I tried adjusting the tip, pulling out the wick, and adding lighter fluid. Design is flawed.

So far only sparks no flame -bummer!
I realize this takes some getting used to but it doesn't take a rocket scientist and so far I am only getting a mere spark from the flint in my garage. Can't imagine trying to light it outdoors or in an emergency. Really disappointed!

Can’t get it to burn
I couldn’t get the item to burn. At all. I got spark, but no flame.
