Disregard all the one star ratings. This is the perfect amateur gunsmith tool kit. I wish I had purchased this 20 years ago. Thin screwdrivers destroy screw heads.

This is a great set, the quality is top notch,and it works for everything I have needed it too. The only complaint is that it has a very limited set of allen and hex drivers. I find myself looking at an allen screw and reaching for my set of allen wrenches now instead of this, which kind of sucks considering ALL of the slotted options it has. The punches are great quality and are the correct sizes, but be careful with them they will bend on you aren't nice to them. I bent one just installing an AR trigger, but I was using it more like a small pry-bar, so it was my fault.The one HUGE annoyance is the hammer faces constantly unscrew. Now I know that they are removable so you can replace them when they become worn, or you can get different material. But really when I am driving a single pin out of a AR charging handle the hammer face should not come lose. I ended up putting some blue loc-tite in there and that fixed the problem, but it would be nice if the threading was tight enough not to have to do that.All in all a great set for the at home gunsmith. I do almost all of my own work, and this kit has really become invaluable to that.

I use this kit to add parts to my Henry rifles as well as change out grips and work on my pistols. This is a basic screwdriver set that will help add and take parts off of my rifles and pistols and I have several of each. With a decent rifle stand and a small punch set I can do everything that I am comfortable with as far as working on my guns. Anything else I definitely will get a gunsmith to do but this screwdriver set has done everything I need it to do and more. Spend the money and have the right tools to work on your guns without scratching are messing them up permanently!!!!!

Wanted a good, expanded set of drivers for years and wouldn't pay the Brownells price. Been using a co-workers set for the past 3 weeks and decided it was time to bite the bullet.Anyone who frequently works on guns NEEDS hollow ground drivers to avoid wrecking screw heads. The bonus here is, for newer guns you get hex and torx bits, too.I already had mallets, drifts and punches scattered around, but it's darn convenient in kit formFinally, there's a very useful bench block you maybe didn't know you needed.

Already have enormous selection of quality torx and hex bits but needed a large assortment of flat head driver bits for gun work and this nailed it.Nice set!
