KONGFloppy Knots Hippo - Internal Knotted Ropes and Minimal Stuffing for Less Mess - For Medium/Large Dogs

It’s a nice size for Mia our miniature Labradoodle. She is nearly 4 and destroys most toys but the Kong toys have beaten her and she loves them. Expensive but we’ll worth it. They last 4 times longer with Mia so very good value for money.

So this is a very nice looking toy. It looks nicely made too. It's not cheap however at £13 - but that makes sense. Like all toys my dog gets he dissected this to get the squeakers out. I was pleased that there was two squeakers in this. There's still a fair bit of synthetic plasticy stuffing in this toy... so that went all over the floor. He pretty quickly ripped off the head to get the first squeaker out... the next day he went back to it and pulled apart the body. The ropes inside look nicely made. I would like to give 5 stars but it seems disengenuous given it was so easily ripped by my dog. But he loved it and I would probably get it again.

Bought for 6 month mini doodle who is a destroyer of toys. He loves his Hippo and so far it's only lost one ear. The legs are long enough for him to get a good grip to shake Hippo vigorously and also for tugging. Sqeak is in Hippo's head and not too loud or annoying.Good that toys have little stuffing. So far so good, seems like it's going to last more than a couple of weeks and by far my puppy's favourite toy.EDIT: April - there is stuffing in the body and head which puppy has extracted, via a teeny hole, after a month. I’ve now removed it all and he still enjoys playing with the toy.

Avoid if you have a young teething pup. Lasted less than an hour before my 4 month old rottweiler puppy had eaten both ears and was pulling stuffing out of it! Not good considering the price of these toys, I expected to get a couple of weeks out of it at least! Previously he had the Kong wild knots teddy bear, and although he did manage to chew its ears and mouth off, he didnt manage to breech the material straight away, it took him about 4 weeks before he was pulling the stuffing out of that one.

Lovely design and we received the red one. Unfortunately Flambeau didn’t last the month. Kong products usually survive longer

Our dog loves this and it’s lasted well so far. And she managed to destroy a ‘hard wearing’ toy in just one day! This one’s doing well. Great to throw also as it goes further.

Tough teddy dog loves it and it keeps him entertained a while

My dogs love Kong toys and they last a few weeks! Eventually my dogs will tear through any “indestructible” toys but these are great!

Our puppy LOVES this toy and takes it with him everywhere.. holds up well to a lot of action!!

Thought they were a slightly bigger size. Good product.
