Chunky
The media could not be loaded. A really good size and keys are good too. I like how they're shaped like vehicles. They can be fiddly. They're a present for my son so he hasn't had them yet but I think he will need help - he'll be 3. Whilst testing them, they did get stuck and I'm not sure a 3 year old could sort this. Probably better for older children practically but visually are definitely for toddlers. We'll put them to good use and at just over £10 I can't really complain too much.

Great for learning
My son loves to use keys, I thought he would enjoy these but we're using them to recognise the words instead

Lock and key toy
Thus is a great product. My Grandaughter loves opening the locks and having her own bunch of plastic keys. Quality product.

Very fun set with a good deal of versatility
This is a set of six toy padlocks in the shape of different types of vehicle (train, ambulance, ice cream van etc.), each with their own individual key but also with a skeleton key that can open any of the set (useful to hang on to in case any of the other keys get lost). The vehicles themselves have their types written on one side and a number on the other, from zero to five rather than the more obvious one to six for some reason, which gives a small person quite a bit to look at and read.It is the padlock feature that elevates this set above other more basic ones, allowing for the different vehicles to be joined together, number zero is the train engine which can therefore go at the front to make them into a train which is solidly connected and able to be pulled along as a single albeit articulated vehicle. This makes the set especially suitable for kids who are into trains, and in fact the width of the vehicles would allow them to be used to an extent with certain gauges of toy train tracks. The locking of the actual padlock parts can be a little tricky to accomplish, probably requiring two hands and certainly being a bit fiddly for a young child to do on their own without a lot of effort. As well, the construction of the vehicles is not the sturdiest, one from the set I ordered already showing a tendency to split apart down the seams although it pushes back together reasonably well. As mentioned above as well, it's worth keeping a close eye on what happens to the keys as it would be quite easy for these to become scattered and lost, this making the locks largely unopenable.Overall though this is a fun set that fits together well and has a lot of different features that make for a lot of potentially fun and educational play. For the price, definitely worth a look especially for any little 'uns who are into trains!

Good for motor skill development
The media could not be loaded. First impression - lots of plastic. Each piece is individually wrapped in non-widely recyclable plastic.Very lightweight pieces. Each key is specific for one of the locks. It does come with a skeleton key so keep that one safe!Six individual and brightly coloured locks.Let’s are all the same light blue colour, but are engraved with a number corresponding to the lock it opens.Keys are tricky to get right inside the lock and need a bit of force.£12.99 for the set is probably a few pounds more than I’d be willing to spend given the quality.
