Fortunately, I was able to get it settled at a couple of angles.There is a slight rise in the center so oil tends to the sides, but I use it to an advantage with a little tilt for the final sauté of a steak with mushrooms, for example.This is much closer to a skillet than the cheap and thin non-stick pans I used to buy.You can work at a low flame once it is warmed up because it retains optimal heating.I used a pizza pan for a makeshift lid and learned new ways to cook eggs sunny side up and as omelets.It perfectly passed all my tests for items to cook: Eggs, Burgers, Steaks, Pancakes, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, sautéed mushrooms and veggies. Your need for oil or butter may vary and might not be necessary in some instances -- Truly Non-Stick and a breeze to clean.Update: after 6 months of daily use it appears to be discolored and losing its non stick surface coating.

I was so impressed with the price of this pan and lid combo I ordered an extra one for a family member. I can’t say enough; the quality, ease of cleaning and a removable handle is just great. Light enough to handle but very sturdy as well. Cleans up beautifully. I use med and less heat. It heats up quickly. I do not heat the pan when empty as recommended. An 11 inch pan with a lid is very hard to come by unless you want a chicken fryer type pan. After looking for many months I came across this pan and lid set and couldn’t wait to receive them. A wonderful company that takes pride in their products. I will order more. Highly recommend. My family member feels the same. Very pleased.

I absolutely love this pan! ! I use it every day and this has become my pan of choice...everything works perfectly. Nothing sticks. One of the main reasons I chose this is because it can also be used in the oven. I don't use the dishwasher to clean this pan, and while it does claim to be dishwasher safe, it's super easy to clean.

I love this new pan! Nothing sticks! It has been great for omelets! Easy to clean! Jus wipe it down with a wet paper towel! It may be the best pan I have ever owned! Time will tell….

We just got this, right now I am giving it a 5 stars since it is a favorite pan of my husband, it is the exact pan for his morning routine of cooking his omelet breakfast, hoping it will last! Easy to clean and looks to be well made!

Did not last as long as I expected under fairly normal cooking conditions, was solid in the beginning and I am a fan of the removable handle for when baking but it's just not up to my standards.
