Update!! Magnet is More Than Sufficient!!
This review is for the WP-10000. Not all of these reviews are for the same product.Everything about this pump is great. It's completely silent. It puts out a strong current and I like the different wave modes. It appears to be a quality build. However, the magnet for holding it to the glass is way too weak. The manufacturer advertises that it will work with glass thicknesses up to .470". My 90 gallon tank's glass is .375" and the magnet just falls to the floor when I align it with the pump. I used a large magnet that I had to hold it in place but it looked a little too unsightly. So, unfortunately, for that reason alone I'm forced to return it. I was considering exchanging it for the same model, thinking that maybe I just got a dud but I noticed in the reviews that another person complained of the same problem and his glass was even thinner than mine.It is unfortunate because I like everything about it, but it's useless if you can't mount it to the glass.Update!!When I was repackaging the pump, I realized that there is an inside and an outside magnet. They are packaged against each other and they are so powerful that separating them is extremely difficult. I honestly thought they were one magnet and I was trying to mount the pump using both magnets on the outside of the glass. There were a number of other reviews mentioning the weak magnet and I can't help but believe that they made the same mistake that I did. I'm glad that I figured it out before I returned it because I really do like this pump.Just in case the manufacturer reads these reviews.... A thin piece of cardboard between the magnets could help dummies like me realize that they are looking at 2 magnets, not just 1.

Wanted to love it
Purchased this for my reef tank with hope it would be as good as the reviews seem. For the price compared to something like an AI Nero, I figured it was worth a shot. Let’s start with the good. Power - plenty. I only have a 26 gallon peninsula and I had to dial it down to the minimum which is 30%. The pattern is relatively wide fan type of flow. The controller is simple and easy to use with a few options and feed mode is nice. Setup was quick. But unfortunately it didn’t last a day before it kicked out an error code and stopped working. Magnets a super weak. Not to mention the sparks when plugging it in to the control box from the wall after trying several restarts. Yikes. If it lasted and I wasn’t afraid I would get electrocuted it would be 5 stars.

Wow. Impressive.
I bought this budget wavemaker about 7 months ago. I thought I would give it a try just based on price point. I am so glad I did. This wavemaker has power and creates great wave motion on my 50 gallon tank. I have been impressed with the ease of use, power and magnets. It's extremely quiet and the value is far better than other wavemakers. I definitely recommend.

Nice DC pump
Works well, the plastic suction cage is a bit brittle. Inlet and outlet adapters are fine for hose, but need a little extra work if you want to attach PVV

Buy 2!! at this price! As a back up.
I researched lots of pumps for my 210-gallon African Peacock tank. I bought this pump last year in August. I just filled my tank and couldn't wait to see how strong this pump was going to be. Well let me tell you it definitely MOVES the water! Super quiet, tons of power. I will buy another just to have on hand as back up. $89.00 ??!! I paid $126.00 and I think that is a fair price compared to the big name brands. If it makes you feel better to pay more.

Great pumps
I currently have 4 of these and the oldest one is over a year and still going strong.

Not good for thick glass
Wave maker it’s decent . But magnets not strong enough for 19 mm glass tank. Thinking about returning unless I find a way to keep it in place
