Night Animals (Usborne Beginners) Hardcover – 29 Jun. 2007

I purchased this book after reading the owl babies book to our pre-school group, and one of the children talked about owls coming out at night time, and I thought this would be a good book to add to the resources I used with owl babies book (owl puppets etc) and it proved to be popular with the children, the size of the book was easy for them to handle and the pictures were very clear,and created lots of interest in the different animals.

My 4.5yrs daughter loves these fact books, she'll love this that I've bought for a plane journey

As I had this posted out to recipient I can only say that the little girl who had this to help with a school project was very pleased and liked the book

This was a Christmas Gift, and as far as I know was enjoyed by my Grandson.But then young children are not going grumble about what Father Christmas has given them.

Usborne books are the best books that combine interest to the children as well as a decent amount of learning and all wrapped up in an easy to read format.

Beautiful pictures. Simple text, yet very interesting for my 4 year old grandson. He wants more books in this series! I have already ordered 4 more.

Excellent well explained and for youngsters to be able to understand if reading themselves or it being read to them by Mom.Also great for school project work research.

Lovely book with interesting facts for a 6 year old interested in nature

Very good book

I cannot tell you how much I love the Usborne Beginners series. I am an elementary school teacher and I am always on the prowl for books that excite my children to read. These books have wonderful color photos with simple explanations. The words are chosen very carefully to enable even the struggling reader a chance to enjoy the information. Each two pages revolve around one main idea and its details. The content is engaging and prompts my students to think and ask questions. Boys especially respond to expository text versus narrative books. I would (and do already) recommend the entire series to everyone.

Great book!

The book was just okay for what I needed. I thought it would be great for my two year old class, however, worked out quite well for four and five year olds.

Good informational book and could also be used as a picture book. I will use in my Kindergarten class this year.
