Bought to hang acrylic shelves. They work perfectly. They are sturdy enough to hold my shelves with plants and decor on them, but thin enough that it doesn’t draw the eye. This package was enough for me to make 3 sets of 3 tiered shelves. All the pieces it came with make it a great value.

Great kit for the money. Easy to install.

Received the set to use in hanging some light weight pictures. The kit is more than enough for my three/four pound pictures and assembly was straightforward. I have to admit getting the ends tight (as shown in the picture) was more of a learning curve than an issue with the set. Once crimped everything was held firmly in place and no issues with slippage in the retainer clip.Only thing to note is this set is relatively small. The thimble (sits within the loop is 1/2 inch wide 3/4 inch long. The crimping sleeves are 1/4 inch long. The wire appears sturdy and the limited pulling and tugging I did trying to get the end loop tight around the thimble and the wire was no worse for wear. The dimensions in the description are accurate so the set delivers as expected.

I used this to mount a couple heavy paintings and a mirror. The mirror was over 50 pounds, so it was more than I would trust to a twisted wire connection. Using wire cutters and locking pliers as the crimper, I was able to make the wire loops very quickly, and they were very secure. Please note that this kit does not include the small screw eyes and the wall anchors you will also need. I put the wire through each screw eye after it was screwed into the frame, and cut the wire to length to length, made a small loop and installed a double crimp on each end, crimping with the locking pliers. The result was a very clean and strong connection. I also plan to use some to hang party lights on my patio - it is rust free and small diameter so should work well for this application also.
