Sweet Home (Sweet Home Series Book 1)

Really sweet story
Not quite the dark romance Iām used to from Tillie but a lovely story nevertheless. Wonderfully written as always with really well thought out characters. Great read.

I don't understand the reviews!
Half way through reading this, I had to go back and check all the reviews I'd read were actually for this book! It's so badly written, I don't know how so many people have enjoyed it.Firstly, the author's impression of a southern accent is just laughable! It was painful to read any of "Rome's" dialogue. And don't get me started on the friends, not only did they not add anything whatsoever to the story but way their speech was written... I could not!I really struggled with this book, I didn't feel Rome's anger through the writing, Molly just told me he was (and all the time too). I didn't feel connected to either main character. The plot felt so far fetched and with no reasoning to make it more believable. It was just too much "bad" to enjoy. Not for me, won't be reading the rest of this series and unlikely to read anything else from this author.

Amazing start to a series!
" Why am I more? I don't get it.""You just are. You somehow give me peace in my completely f&$ed-up world. You get me; No one has before. It's that simple."New adult romance about the shy, introvert, book smart girl and the rich popular, star Quarter Back. Molly Shakespeare is only interested in books and staying away from anything that could come in the way of that. Romeo 'Bullet' Prince is only interested in getting out from the clutches of his parents and any plans they have made when it comes to his life which means keeping his head down, stay away from serious relationships and to make sure he gets drafted.Simple.Only things happen and life doesn't always stick to the plan.I loved Rome and Molly so much! Molly and Rome pretty much come from opposite worlds in every sense yet they're pulled to eachother like magnets. Molly was so freakin' smart, she hated being the center of attention, was quite the introvert but I also admired how she truly didn't care what people thought of her. She was kind of trying to just get through life the best she could after losing everyone she ever loved and it was so sad to see especially when things got tough and it's clear she has only ever known how to deal with things one way - alone.Rome was born into wealth and has everything he could ever need. Not necessarily what he wants. What he wants is to live the life he wants, playing the sport he loves with his best friends side and be with someone he wants to be with but he knows all too well we don't always get what it is we want. He learns to just go along with what his parents want and try be the son they want --- until he meets Molly and gets a taste for what it's like to live a life he wants. Rome broke my heart just as much as Molly - even more so actually. I loved getting to see who he really is with Mol, how he was soft and vulnerable and holy hotness he was seriously hot and dominant at times! gah!"I didn't tell you to suck me, Shakespeare. You know you need to ask permission first,"This being a college, New Adult romance I really wasn't expecting the feels! There were so many! Mol and Rome had so many tender, heart hurting moment. I wanted to wrap them both up and never let go! There was some really sweet moments. Those game kisses *sigh*. Then there were just some really tense moments and I wasn't sure if they were going to get through! So yeah there was so many feels!! But we get great entertainment in the name of Cass and Jimmy don - especially Cass, man I love her so hard lol!! Never a dull moment with her! When the whole group of them are together it's always fun and seeing glimpses of relationships developing makes me smile! There's a twist of Romeo and Juliet in this story but really Rome and Mol's story is just about two lonely souls finding their missing piece within eachother."Can I tell you something?"... "I'm desperately lonely, too.""Hey Mol.""Hey you.""You gonna give up that lucky sweet kiss?""If that's what you want."

Oh my!
For me this book, and Tillie's writing is all about the feels and my God does it deliver. From the moment I started this book and Molly bumped, quite literally, into Romeo and he knocked her off her feet and changed her life forever, I knew this was a book I was going to fall in love with.I love that they come from two completely different world's and create a whole new one of their own. They abide by nobodies rules but their own, their love knows no limits or bounds, even when everything feels against them they come out stronger. I love the passion they have for each other, the way they make each other think and feel and the way Romeo changes without realising it to begin with. The way Sweet Home is written it pulls you in effortlessly and makes you fall in love over and over again. You want them to come through all of their hardest battles stronger, to face everything in their way fearlessly and they do. It's not all plain sailing for them or hearts and rainbows but it makes them fight for what's theirs, even when it gets tough and Molly acts in her feelings and doesn't think she still finds her way back. Their friends are a huge factor in the couple's success and are a powerhouse that surrounds them constantly with love and a sense of family and my God will they make you laugh and laugh and laugh again. The connections are strong and powerful and lifelong bonds. This book, it's story and the characters will steal your heart and you won't care, not one little bit.
