Perfectly reliable
I’ve made about a dozen tables, cutting boards, and serving trays with just this one mold. It’s perfect. KeepIt clean. Pour correctly. Use mold release spray. It won’t fail you

Quality and Sturdy Product
I wanted a good mold to make several cutting boards and serving trays. I read several low ratings complaining about difficulty releasing their project which caused me some concern.I made sure the mold was clean and that I used a release agent before pouring resin. I have experienced no problems whatsoever getting my projects to release. Typically three or four taps with the included rubber mallet and the project releases. The mold is rigid and there has been no warping with any of my pours. I was so pleased with my experience; I bought another larger mold to use. They are priced a little high, but I have used my first one five times and it still looks new. This may very well be a case of you get what you pay for. I think you can buy this product with confidence.

Great product
It well made good quality and functional but the corners on the side are curved I don’t like that but other than that good and ease to assemble but just a little time consuming going back and forth.

It's worth it, Just get it
This beautiful kit still resides in my closet untouched. I completely trust it will do its job as I am just too scared to try epoxy for the first time. Anyway, the hammer that is provided actually became useful when I needed my bent-up car key to straighten out... also for if you have some noisy neighbors above lol

Well Made
So far I have made three river-cutting boards from this mold. The first time I used Tuck Tape to line it. That was a mistake, it took me a long time to get all the tape off. Second and Third I used mole release and they fell out easily. It comes with a rubber mallet but do not count on that, the first time I used it the head flew off. I still gave it 5 stars because I had better mallets and did not purchase this for the mallet.

Easy to use
This mold is great for my wood and resin projects! It is a must to use mold-release spray. I cut a couple of spacers from a plastic cutting board to use so that I don’t waste resin if my wood pieces are small (I tape them in place with Tyvek tape). Overall, it’s a nice mold and perfect for my projects!

Too much draft, wrong material and more
Well there are several issues. 1 it has way too much draft. The angle of the sides is so extreme that the resin flows past the material unless you cut the material @ 5 deg. But you can't do that very well if you have a wide piece and a live edge. What this essentially means is you do have to seal this, you just seal the work piece to the mold which means more work after demoed. I guess you can just let it go and cut the whole thing down but again thats more work. Problem 2. This is molded thermoplastic meaning it is not HDPE or pfte so the epoxy does stick to it without a heavy coat of mold release, additionally since it is thermoplastic the heat generated by the resin actually effects the shape. So if you shim it to achieve level one side ends up with a 1/16" to 1/8" bowl shape to it.... so again more work for you. I assumed they did this to make a mold this size more cost effective but it really doesn't effect the price enough to justify the bad ideas behind it. yes you can overcome its shortcomings but the savings of 30 to 40 over a custom built HDPE mold is quickly overcome by the large amount of resin waste associated with the design. For 1 project I guess it's probably a wash but 2 or more forget about it.
