The best breeder box on the market!
I just hatched 200 angel fish eggs! As you know, they are very small. This is the 1st breeder box that i have purchased that kept the angel fry safe from the other fish! Very strongly constructed, quality product! Highlyrecommended.

Mixed review
This breeder box though i struggled with its price compared to other units is still in question after receiving it. Pros: It offers reasonable amount of room roughly 6” x 6”. The permeations in the mesh are very small and will easily allow for good flow and keep your fry in. You don’t have to spend 30 minutes putting it all together. It’s reasonably sturdy as I it sits next to a MP40 Power head at 35%. The Cons: The lid doesn’t snap in and it rests (shouldn’t be an issue for most tanks). The SS panels although they are removable I find myself hesitant to remove it as it warps and flexes uncomfortably as I try to check the serviceability of them. I think this is going to be a long term issue with this breeder box. The hanging clip on the back is poorly designed and not recommended for a high flow tank. A possible solution for this for some is to find the resting position in your tank remove it and then use gel super glue on the clip to lock it in place. I personally would need this for multiple style tanks fresh / salt - rimless and rimmed so this is not possible for me as the resting position will need to be moved constantly based on each tank. Additionally the nob to secure it to the glass is plastic and a tight fit and not ergonomically designed for comfortability specially with wet fingers. The model is freakishly similar too a Ziss Breeder box. I think their engineering team with a few tweaks can make this a fantastic product and offered with replaceable mesh panels would add to its value greatly.

Works well.
The media could not be loaded. Kept baby Cory’s in the tank for sometime. It was sturdy without the suction cups. I used the hang on system in my 35 gallon rimless tank. The size is big but was necessary for the amount of babies I had.It assembled easily and was ok for the price.Cleaning wasn’t that easy because algae collected in the frame.

Best ever
This is the best breeding box I've used! My fish could somehow get my fry through the net boxes but this one works perfectly! I love the clear acrylic. I also use a very small sponge filter to help water quality. Love this breeding box, worth the money!!

Total piece of garbage!
Like the title states, this is a total piece of crap. The box itself was sturdy. It’s just the hang-on clip that’s super flimsy. The clip will detach itself from the box with the slightest water movement. There’s no fastener (ie rubber band) that would’ve securely attach the clip to the box. Would not recommend.

Bigger than it looks, sturdy.
I'm pleasantly impressed with the quality of this box. Bigger than a handful. Metal mesh screens on 3 sides are well attached and very finely perforated. Solid lid guards against jumpers getting back into the main tank. 5 stars.

There’s room for improvement
My gold fish recently had babies. They were ant size so I needed something that would separate them and keep them safe from being sucked into the filter. Anyway this seemed like the best option in the market with tiny holes. It’s a little pricey but unfortunately it wasn’t made very well. I bought two of them and both had sharp acrylic shards on the bottom opening where mesh screen was installed. This could really injury the baby fish so we had to trim off the shards. I wish it came from the factory already trimmed and sanded down. Secondly the next day one of my baby fish got sucked to the side of the mesh panel and died there. I’m not sure if this product is appropriate for small fish tanks—mine was 6 gallons and the filter was right behind this separator. This might work for gold fish from the pet stores that are about 1” length, but for baby fry that are ant size, I’m not sure if this is the right product that will keep them safe. Sad that this didn’t work out for my fish fry.
